Lets keep wasting taxpayers money on this marijuana nonsense. What is the cost of all of these proceedings, including court, incarceration & even the helicopter? And for what? To punish those with an herb? When is this country going to wake up. This State has so many in jail because of pot that the State has to ship them to outside facilities. Don't you think all of the wasted money could better be used for those who are hungry or cold, or how about education?
What a farce!

Unbelievable! 5 years and 100 grand? For growing pot? I understand that it is illegal, but there are pedophiles and other sex offenders out and about without jail...or the big fine...besides, if he's in jail, how does he pay his fine?! I know of a local store where a convicted(and admitted) offender works alone and many young girls are in that store frequently(he is on the registry for his "relationship" with a 14 year old...he was nearly 30 at the time). Why not put HIM in jail, and let Marijuana Marvin out? I think we should legalize and tax marijuana- growers could apply for an application to grow set wouldn't that put some folks to work, and give our economy a boost? It would be sold as local and organic! By the way, I don't smoke at all, but I AM tired of our tax bills going up and nobody else seems to have any answers...what about our local farmers? It's a marketable commodity.

Again more wasted tax dollars for marijuana nonsense. I could see this if it was narcotics, but pot! Not only do taxpayers have to pay for the court system but the correctional services as well. How about the taxpayers start charging these lawyers, cops, and correctional facilities for abuse of our tax dollars?
Than we have ONCE AGAIN, the so called assault victims. You have a female who feels she has been done wrong ,who's getting an idiot to do her dirty work and get pay back on the x boyfriend, and what results here, is the idiot gets jail time for her actions and the x boyfriend gets the snot kicked out of him.
I am sick to death of women using the court system to seek revenge. You have the women who think their tough who drink and than think they can take on a man, when this fails they cry wolf and our states attorney charges the victim for what she started to begin with. Its the perfect revenge when you have the system work for you, at your dirty deeds.

But what about the real victims who don't come forward where there is abuse, why? Because of real fear, its strange how people can see this and the states attorney can't. The real victim does not change their stories, liars do. The real victims don't come forward because of fear, and because they know this system is so damaged and can't protect them, all because of the liars.
I am tired of the abuse and my tax dollars blown on this crap. It's time taxpayers start charging the system for tax dollar abuse. VT alone spends over 700,000.00 a year on these case for marijuana nonsense, jails, lawyers, so it brings the circle back to who's the real victims here, the taxpayers. Its all a scam to ensure their jobs, its not about justice anymore, its about the bottom line and retirement plans.
