The above comment also refers to other people who disagree with me as well as moronic idiots who again judge things before they are given a chance. You fools!

"Let's invent the computer." "Oh, no...the computer is bad. There may be gross stuff and pornography." While that may be true, they still invented it and people in most areas almost everywhere still use it. My point is give it a chance before you judge it, as I already said in my previous comment. You can't judge something before you see it. That's what is dumb about people these days. Too judgemental...emphasis on "MENTAL"! Wow. You are so programmed to defend this crap that it doesn't even occur to you to use the power of the precedent. That is--what came before. It is not rocket science and it is certainly not a minority opinion that these kind of shows perpetuate a very damaging image for young american women to emulate. You honestly cannot believe that this 'new' program is going to blow the whole world away; that it's comparable to the invention of the COMPUTER?? What in God's name would make you think this show, this exploitation, this maddening trend, will teach us anything different? You really are a follower, huh? I'm sorry for you and others like you. Most of all, I'm sorry for the young women of America who are lead to believe it's ok to aspire to be nothing more than cookie-cutter, card-board cut-outs of real women.(Stepford Wives anyone?) Has anyone noticed that Gloria Steinhem hasn't spoken a real word in years? It's probably because she's outnumbered by Fem-Bots; fed and raised in this country by reality programs, strip clubs,(oh jeez did you have to mention the porn industry of all things??)oblivious parents and any chapter of pop culture you wish to bring up. It's sad. The state of the union regarding women in this country has been set back 40 years; all that work and all that passion incinerated before our eyes. Bottom line for this Lohan Disaster Show? Don't buy it. Don't watch it. Don't perpetuate it. Don't teach it. Think of the young women in your family if you have any...Think of the young men out there who expect less and less from girls based on what they see exploited all over the place...

It's sad. People judge many things without even giving them a chance. I'm glad I'm not one of you guys. Besides, since when are humans allowed to make judgements anyway? Talk about being hypocritical. Not that my comments are going to make any difference to you people who refuse to listen to anything I say. I could preach for years, but I strongly doubt any of you are going to care. So, instead of fighting with you people, I'm only going to say this. I can't wait for this new show to come on. Let's see...according to the previews, it's expected to be on E! on Memorial Day. Well, I guess I'd better set my vcr to record it.

They may end up doing coke and giving BJ's to anonymous men if they watch and then learn from "Living Lohan"!!!
Keep your loved ones away!!!!!

Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie, Anna Nicole Smith, Kim Kardashian. How is Dina's show going to be any different. Another untalented mooch, whoring herself out on a reality show, for morons like you to watch. Maybe if this woman spent as much time raising her daughter instead of sucking it up for the camera, Lindsey might not be in rehab for they 58th time.

And people wonder why 12 year old girls are wearing mini skirts, and teenagers are getting knocked up. Because young girls unfortunately have Paris and Lindsey and Brittney to look up to. Yeah I would love my daughter to end up lke them, snorting coke in the back of a limo, maing sex tapes, flashing their cooter to any reporter with a camera. What responsible women they are. David you're more than welcome to let your daughter emulate them and turn into some spoiled whore, I choose to teach my daughter what dignity is.

You left out those talentless idiots from the Nils, I mean Hills. But I do enjoy watching TMZ to see the paparazzi falling all over themselves shooting these dimwits! jeff wrote: <quoted text> I have given it a chance. Well, unlike SOME people, I will watch the show before I make up my mind about it. If it's bad, I won't watch it anymore. Simple.

Why? Who are you to tell me how to live my life or not watch a show just because you don't want to watch it? How'd you like it if I told you (and anyone else that disses me) how to live your lives and told you that you MUST watch the shows I like or NOT to watch any show I hate? I know you'd hate that. So, don't tell me I can't watch a show just because you hate it. Hypocrites, all of you. Get your own damn lives and stop worrying about mine!

And, human decency, my ass! In this country, there is no such thing as human decency. I know because I'm stuck to live in this country.

Ok, this is just too good to pass up. Decency??? Is it decent to pimp one's children on reality shows? Do you live under a rock? What other publications besides Newsday do you frequent? Do you not see what is happening to the young women in this country as a direct result of reality-based shows, overexposure, the crazed desire to be famous at all costs? We're a nation in crisis on very many levels, not the least of which is owing to the 'dumbing down' of American entertainment. You did not reply to my previous rant and I'm sure I know why. You're probably very young yourself and if I threw a quarter at you, you couldn't buy a clue as to what I was talking about. Who ARE you David? What is your background? I'm just curious to know the frame of reference you have for your very passionate view that a Lohan reality show is the best thing ever...

I'm just curious to know the frame of reference you have for your very passionate view that a Lohan reality show is the best thing ever... First of all, I am a nudist in case you didn't see a lot of my other comments on other forums. I never said I have a passionate view of the new reality show. In one of my comments, I said I will watch the show first before I make up my mind about it. I even said if I don't like it, I won't watch it anymore or something to that effect. But, at least, I'm giving it a chance since nobody else will. They always say to give something a chance before you judge it. Hasn't anybody taught you not to judge anything before you see it/hear it/taste it, whatever? My mom raised me right, though not as a nudist. That, I discovered for myself.

Also, I said there's no such thing as decency in this country. And, dumbing down American entertainment may be a problem, but you're blaming this new show for their stupidity without giving it a chance, as I said. I don't watch the news, so, in that respect, I do "live under a rock", so to speak. I don't like to watch the news because it's either too boring or it's too disturbing. As for not responding to your other rant, well...you're half right. I'm not quite sure what you were talking about. However, I'm not as young as you think I am.
