Any way you cut it this is criminal activity. Those involved, including superintendents who received their lucrative contracts from negotiations by the law firms these lawyers were associated with, are entitled to prosecution to the full extent of the law. Unfortunately, the probes undoubtedly will reveal a far reaching monopoly throughout Long Island and in select parts of New York State.
The sad fact is kids, teachers, and parents have been robbed for decades by a sophisticated scheme, enabled by the political mechanizations of state.
To avert future atrocities individuals fraudently manipulating public funds for personal gain should be sentenced as "enemies of the state." That'll fix 'em!
