Police Layoffs!!!!!! 10% of the Police Department!!!!

I heard that 2 Runnemede officers have been layed off by the boro. There are only about 20 officers in the department, how can they layoff guys, they should be hiring!!!1

I am concerned for my safety in the town now if that is true. How long were the officers workin g there?

I am outraged! Those two officers have been very helpful to me and many others in the past. What does the mayor have to say about this? Will our taxed be lowered??

Good riddance. Most SJ police departments are overstaffed.Local police departments have become the repository for unemployed brothers-in-law and other misfits.

18 cops is enough ..
20 would be better and pay cuts should just be given if everyone cares about them staying...
