And those computers at Wilson have been a helpful resource in saving Polenka's leg from aputation (Polenka my service dog). In Sept. of 2008 Village Vet wanted to amputate her leg due to the hemangio-pericytoma tumor.

Spent much time researching online and learned tumor removal is an option. So since the tumor may grow back (and one couple/dog I met at Haagen's said their dog's tumor grew back in four months), I took the strategy of putting off removal for as long as possible (painless tumor--Polenka often slept on it--if it were very painful she would have slept on her other side to avoid putting pressure on it).

It finally began to ulcerate so had to do removal. Did so with vet confident he could remove it successfully without complications. He did a great job (removed 11/30/2010--almost a year ago), although said he couldn't get all of it due to the location. But no signs thus far of growing back.

This has been a success story due on large part to accessing Wilson library public access computers as a homeless man. Furthermore, I've checked out many books there--Dosteovsky, Karamzin, Gogol, Schiller, Chateubriand, Neibuhr, etc. That community card has been helpful in accessing books otherwise not found at public libraries. WWU has more books.

Very disappointing to have been forced away from a helpful resource.

Nice. They censored my entire post describing being trespassed from WWU library; blatant corruption.

Note they removed Post #1 here (explaining how I was unjustly trespassed from WWU library).

Nov. 11, 2011 I was just trespassed from Woods Coffee, threaten with physical assault. The man who made the threat left before police arrived, police did not pursue him, I instead was trespassed by Woods "for life". The man thought I was in bathroom too long. Etc. Will not provide details, this may too be removed.

That's Avellino's (trespassed there for "using too much soy milk" in a small 8 oz to go cup w/shot of espresso), WWU library, and now Wood's Coffee. These are all now on my police record. I am 46 years old and have had no police record until now. Blatant corruption. Blatant.

Corruption may or may not be the right word. Increasingly aggressive tactics to remove homeless from society is probably the best way to describe it.

I have never been a problem at Woods Coffee the entire year I've been a customer. For them to so quickly have me trespassed over a bathroom conflict doesn't make sense. Years ago, the few times I'd ever heard of an individual being "trespassed" was because they had a pattern of creating trouble within an establishment. Repeated offenses, so that there was little question that indivivual was the source of conflict and therefore needed to be trespassed.

But now it's as if people (business employees) are gnashing their teeth desiring to get rid of a homeless person at the first opportunity. Maybe because they're wanting Bellingham to be like Bellevue, an upscale place and homeless are simply bad aesthetics.

I don't know but the continuous harrassment has hurt me deeply. Very, very deeply. Cumulatively.

Off-topic for thsi thread, but on other threads have posted YouTube vids of French and Italian female singers from 1960's. Just found this one--it's kind of an unexciting pop song (don't understand the words since I don't speak French or Italian), but it's an enjoyable video--one of the few Christien Delaroche has. Christine Delaroche has numerous good songs/Youtube vids--epsecially the ones with her in a blue outfit on the front of the album.

Very much enjoy that video. Christine Delaroche's voice is not quite as good in it as in some of her other songs--it starts out good but does not seem to be consistently good throughout the song-- but it's still a very good video. So fun to find.

Off-topic also...this was a post of mine--just found it online by chance:

SAVE A BEAR: Just say no to Ron Paul and drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (state’s rights). Turn the WMD (motor vehicle) parking lot at the health food co-op into a seating area/garden in memorium to “poor, poor Sebastian” from ‘Suddenly Last Summer’(Elizabeth Taylor; Katherine Hepburn; Montgomery Clift)[lol]. A Co-op employee responded they’d lose half their business. Not necessarily. WMD pilots would simply have to adapt–that’s what WTA bus riders had to do when denied bus service this entire past winter (though not WWU students–they had university buses running a devil’s triangle loop–WWU-Sehome-downtown-WWU throughout the winter on Sunday’s; while WTA riders in wheelchairs stayed home and ate peanut butter/crackers if they didn’t have a refrigerator).

District Judge Malloy explained in 2009 (when reinstating Yellowstone grizzlies under Endangered Species Act protection) that WMD threaten white bark pine nut through global climate change. That and roadkill are the real threat to grizzlies, not pepper spray. REI sells Counter Assault bear spray but consumers are not informed biologists have stated on record that pepper spray does not work on black bears “due to a unique protective mucous coating”(’Pepper Spray? Bad Bet’; Anchorage Daily News; 9/29/96). I wouldn’t mind seeing the traffic camera issue go to a (legally binding) vote, but have always wondered why those piloting WMD expect to have their ‘Own Private Idaho’ while public bus riders are under camera surveillance all the time–not just when passing through intersections/school zones.

The others by Christine Delaroche are better: La Fille Du Soleil; La porte A Cote (similar to Jacqueline Taieb); Comment Le Vent (my favorite of hers); and Les Princes D'Aujourd Hui--those four are on the album where Christine Delarcohe is in a blue outfit on cover. Very enjoyable songs--her voice is consistently nice throughout all four of those songs. Somehow came back again to

Katty Line » Ne fais pas la tete (1965)(HD)

That one's really funny--found it about two years ago.

Okay....it's the one where it says Bedazzled Tv on it--has the two guys with long hair introduce her, and has a few people dancing along side her--b/w video. Awesome! So funny, can't stop laughing. Has to be an all-time favorite now--

Hubbard's 'First Light'...the Youtube video shows it with photos unfortunately--too distracting. The song is much better without accompanying photos. It has always brought to mind somehow a childhood bike ride on Elmendorf Air Force Base, very early AM, like around 4:30 or 5...Bobby Poynter and I woke up early and rode our bikes to school--we were only about 11 y.o at the time. But on the way we rode on a trail through a stretch of woods before entering EAFB golf course. It skirted Mt. View neighborhood. Recall stopping and studying the poor neighborhood as though it were from a Telly Savalas Kojak rerun--inner city New York. A very eery feeling, strong impression, dreamlike--that moment always comes to mind when hearing Freddie Hubbard's 'First Light'.

This is one of the very first French "ye ye" videos I'd happened to find about three years ago...not the exact video, there was actually another b/w version where France Gall is sitting down and sings expressively using her arms at one point--really liked that one, although this is good too. Ran the lyrcis through a translation and they appeared to convey nihilism or something, couldn't quite understand, but love the melody:
