The man speaking before me during public comment at SLO supervisors meeting does so in regard to "Sunny Acres"--a place for homeless people to live. Just read up on it online, Sunny Acres requires homeless people that want to live there to attend two AA meetings a week. Similar to a place in downtown Seattle that requires homeless to attend the AA meeting if they want to eat the food that's given out afterwards.

Like court ordered AA coercement.

With hardly any affordable housing available, and 3-5 year waiting lists through housing authority (Los Angeles has 15 year waiting list), I would be forced to attend AA, knowing it's wrong to be forced to do so, if I were to have somewhere to stay. It is now illegal to sleep in a vehicle anywhere within San Luis Obispo (and Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Oceano)--walking on eggshells these past two weeks. Clean and sober since 7/18/85.

Called Tucson Alcoholics Anonymous Central Office (Intergroup) and they said they did not publish 'Dysfunction Junction...' in their April newsletter (submitted first week or so of March). Also, they said a copy of 'Dysfunction Junction...' I had posted on their bulletin board is no longer there. Was not given a clear answer for why it was not published and why it was taken down from bulletin board. I had a much longer piece (about AA) published in that same newsletter in 1992.

Searched YouTube for a CD of mine (Wes Montgomery live at Ronnie Scott's in London) and found these two excellent videos of Wes Montgomery w/intro. by Ronnie Scott:

Wes Montgomery Boss Guitar, The Art of Wes Montgomery (part 1 of 2) and part 2 of 2
which continues the only song that's also on the CD. Hadn't recognized the other songs on these videos, but enjoyed them all. Ronnie Scott doesn't mention it, but a George Benson quote on Montgomery's Wiki page explains that Wes had a corn on his thumb.

Not too crazy about color videos, but just found this...apparently Michele Torr became even more popular in the 70's and 80's than she had been in the 60's; here's one showing her in 1975. She's very good in it, but I love the b/w videos most:

This one is similar--have been viewing it many times over past 2-3 months or so, from 1973, but it's still being in b/w is so much more preferable, unsure why--maybe b/w has greater contrast or something:
