NWS: Straight-Line Winds Cause Widespread Damage

The National Weather Service said Saturday that no tornado hit Omaha on Friday. All of the damage in the area was caused by straight-line winds.

Straight line winds my ass. The national weather service blew it again. If you don’t believe me take a drive on HWY 275 from Omaha towards Valley and Fremont. Straight line winds do not suck the soy beans out of a field and twist a center pivot in like a bendy straw then 20 feet to the North a center pivot and the crops all look fine. The National weather service is just covering their ass as usual!
