Bellevue Man Charged In Enticement Case

A 43 year old Bellevue man is accused of using the Internet to arrange a sexual encounter with a girl he believed was 14 years old Tuesday, July 7, 2009 La Vista Police say Richard Petit was actually chatting online with an undercover detective.

I don't know what you all know about Richard Petit but he is not the person the news is letting you understand or even know. Of course he is being portrayed in the worse possible way.
The sting is praying on males, what about females chatting with young men? I don't think that is even a consideration which is sad.

I guess is you don't know this guy very well.
I'm 100% sure that the police don't arrest someone unless they have evidence -- I bet they have all the transcripts with everything he said and it has already been lookec at by the DA - He's going down!! I would bet that this is not the 1st time for him - Most of the people like this have done it more than once.
Give him the MAX punishment.

Well I don't think you know him very well. Was it a dumb, terrible thing to do? Yes but one mistake doesn't describe a persons whole life or character.
