If you haven't heard of it, it's a Tex-Mex restaurant that's supposed to be HUGE in the South. Huge as in, Bueno IS the Taco Bell there.

Anybody have any good or bad comments about it? They DID have a store on 175th and Center, but the only one is on 72nd and Sorensen Parkway.

That's nice, but I wanted to ask somebody who DIDN'T stalk me there while I was working. <_<

I never stalked you, and I'm right because Taco Bell is worse. Essentially powdered beans with frozen meats? No thanks, I'll stick with refrigerated, fresh meats and real beans simmered overnight fr a few cents more.

I'm not asking you in particular. If there are customers who have indeed visited the 175th and Center store, then I want to know what they think.

I know, but I'm giving an honest opinion, so live with it. Even if you disagree, Bueno is fresher. Taco Bell has no fresh food excluding the fiesta salsa because the rest is prepackaged and just tossed in hot water until it reaches a certain temp.

Some said the beef at Bueno wasn't very good, but that our quesadillas were better since we didn't add any sauce to them. I want PUBLIC FEEDBACK, not YOURS EXCLUSIVELY!

We have Taco Bell's in Texas and some people here call them 'Taco Hell' or 'Taco Smell'. It isn't the best but it is a cheap meal when you running low on cash. Bad thing is it will give you the 'runs' if you are not use to the spicy stuff. It's decent but not authentic.

Is Taco Bueno really that popular in the South though?

I heard from a Texas couple that Taco Bell down there was garbage.

Oh, and Taco Bueno has WAAAYYY better steak than Taco Bell.

Taco Bueno is good. I've been to 175th and Center store many times before it closed. Food was fresh, they had a salsa bar, and a nice cheese to dip your food in. A tad more expensive than Taco Bell, but pretty comparable to Taco Johns.

Ah, cool. A fan of Bueno. I was a worker there since it opened, and yes... everything is fresh. Heck, if you're in the area of 72nd & Sorenson, try the new steak products and smoothies.(Gourmet steak burrito is expensive, but it's just as good as Chipotle)

That's it, I'm never eating at Taco Bell again. They can save their fake food, because it causes diarrhea. Taco Bueno is the way to go!

I personally like Taco Bueno alot more than Taco Bell. However, I don't like that I have to drive across town to get to one. The standard of food seems to be much better at 'Bueno. Oh and the cheesecake chimi-changas are so good....but greasy. ok that's my take
