Virginia man's body found in Peoria County ravine

Authorities in central Illinois have identified the man whose body was found submerged in water at the bottom of a ravine in the Peoria County town of Bellevue yesterday.

it is a shame that something like this happened. no mother should have to bury her child. i hope that the police investigate this the best that they can. if someone is responsible for this i trully hope that they are arrested and tried to the full extent of the law no matter who they are. my prayers go out to the family.

I knew this man and it is very sad to hear. Jim had done some hardwood floors for us in Dublin, Virginia and you couldn't ask for a nicer guy. I'm shocked to hear about this. My prayers go out to his family and his children.
