Hello, I am thinking of becoming a new resident at the Providence at Harbour Club. Is there anything that you can inform me of about these apartments?

Back in the spring over 40 residents had their catalytic converters stolen off of their vechiles. There was also an apartment fire that almost wiped out an entire building this past spring.

Try checking out apartmentratings.com or apartmentreviews.net & read up on what current & past residents say.

I wouldn't recommend living in Belleville. If you have the money to pay Providence's rent - why not check out apartments in the Canton area. The community is much nicer.

Or, if you have to live in Belleville - check out Westlake off of Belleville Rd. I would stay away from Village Green - there was a shooting a few months ago and there is a lot of drug activity that goes on.

I used to live in Green Meadows (subsidized apartments behind Village Green) and I don't recommend them either. However, the apartments themselves were spacious & nice - the residents were not. They allowed their children to run wild through out the complex, trash is always left everywhere, car vandalizism is common, rent is way too expensive for subsidized housing, and they only have 2 maintenance workers, so any work orders take at least 3 weeks for a response.

Southport is nice, but there's a lot of vandalisim there too.

Tuscan Manor is the right price, but the apartments were poorly taken care of by residents. They look like they would be the best place for cockroaches.

Sorry, I know this is negative, but there are so many better & nicer apartments in the Detroit Metro area - you just have to search for them.

You need to know that Harbour Club does not pay or provide anything to tenants other than maintenance and grounds. You will pay for your water and the heating of that water. The monthly cost on top of the rent will be about $50.00 (their water charge and DTE's heating charge) THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT UP FRONT.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
