if the police would bust the drug dealers on freedom drive that stand and walk 4-5 wide in the middle of the road these things wouldnt get this far, this is only one of the many robberies in that area that is posted.

I hope all the men that did the crime are punished to the full extent. Belleville used to be a beutiful place to live until certain groups moved into the community. Hopeful that Belleville police will piece together the info and catch those thugs. Personally if things in belleville dont get better my family or going to have to move to better region for safety. Bottom line get ride of the thugs in belleville!

i agree they should fine those gangbangers for wearing saggie pants and their sideways hats, and ticket them for jus stopping in the middle of the road in their vehicle obstructing traffic jus to talk to their hommies, and do their drug trade, they also act like the roadway is their personal sidewalk built for them to walk down the middle of instead of cars to drive thru, they keep doing that and eventually someone is going to get carjacked its like their trick to get you to stop your vehicle.

like for example im driving down the road with my young daughter and she spots a gangbanger with saggie pants and his underwear is all thats showing while his pants are down by his knees, i dont think my daughter should be exposed to that kind of obscenity and the gangbanger should be charged with indecent exposure! why do us citizens hav to tolerate this lack of law enforcement?

i no the young man that was shot, and its not surprising. many people do not know of the high schools "gangs". There is mob maffia triple c zone mac and plenty others. normally these gangs only fist fight but no it has escalated to shootings. something has to be done be for these so called gangs become real ones.

i personally think that guns should be outlawed all together, only law enforcement and military can own them or if a guy had X amount of acres, like a farmer or something, and like places like Montana or something be able to buy a permit for a few days to hunt with, i mean cmon what are you going to hunt with a revolver or automatic weapon? the first amendment was good at the time it was written but times have changed there are grocery stores now, the need for hunting is minnimal, and we should be trying to embrace the wild life anyway.

well, it's just not the police that pick the guys up, but it's the courts who slap their hands and send them back out to the street to sell more drugs to our young kids. it's a never ending cycle.....pick them up.....put them in jail....judge slaps their hands......sets them free. now lets start over again. jobs security for out cops. it will never stop til we keep these people in prison where they belong.

i pass thru that street often and not but 2 weeks ago i saw a beautiful red silver fox dead on the side of the road hit or shot undoubtedly n besides that i see more roadkill there like cats n racoons squirells, skunks, opossums, than anywhere else, but that fox saddened me to see him that way. its like they have no respect for life, or to anyone that works hard their whole life making an honest living to have nice things.

My comment was not a threat. It just seems home invasions have replaced car jackings the same way car jackings replaced chain snatching. Remember when people used to get beat up for their Starter jackets or Air Jordans? Now they just kick in your door and take the entire family hostage.

the community or local gov. should spend some of that stimulus on a Prison/school so these kids can do time and get rehabilitated, and even better they should learn how to build it and do it for job skills.

i know these boys very well. i cant even begin to imagine what they went through early this morning. ive heard what happened first hand from the woman who tried to help. i dont know what is going on with these kids of ours, they are out of control because their parents have lost all control, tyvm to our government. but back here behind Freedom Dr it is chaos. i dont feel safe in my own home anymore and frankly, considering letting the bank have it and getting the heck out of Belleville all together...it used to be such a nice place to live...not anymore They need to shut down Freedom Dr. apartments and restructure section 8...things need to change
