I bought and paid for my house years ago and I don't like that about every four or five years I feel as if I am buying it all over again with the amount of taxes you have to pay . So I am glad for a budget with no tax increase.

It is your civic duty... anywhere u live you will pay taxes.
Our school taxes have not increased in 11 yrs.
one mil is 35.00
your house is paid for however, you are cheap on education.
So you feel education has a price tag?
Remember people paid for your education with their tax dollars.
Shameful of you to complain about your civic duty.
Do you also not pay for your water, electric, food since they also are up in price????
Honestly, Your ignorance is a demonstration of why our county is the way it is. You determine when enough is enough with tax dollars, No matter how expensive the cost is.

I agree! Just pay it and quit whining, it's not like it's a couple thousand dollar increase if it does go up unless you own the entire industrial park. If the education system fails you'll be paying out more in taxes to support all the kids who didn't finish school and are too dumb to work. You'll be spending more on locks to lock your belongings up so the jobless wonders can't steal it to sell and buy crack or whatever kids are doing these days.

We are starting to find out it is not a civic duty for taxpayers to just keep paying out for irresponsible people and spending , people had enough . It is not taxpayers problem that people won't pay their bills and goes bankrupt or their home is sold out from under them because they did not live up to their agreements. Your outlook to what would happen if education fails seems to have already taken place here in Lewistown . They just have a way of not reporting and making you think differently .
