World going to end in 2012

i have read up on this stuff for a number of years i find it interesting alot of scientists seem to all agree this definitely happens what they argue over is how it happens and how fast it happens...

im talking about polar shifting, this is when north becomes south and south becomes north...

ever wondered why there is north and true north?

there seems to be ALOT of scientific proof that this occurs, if it happens as some scientists think the earths surface could shift up to 120 degrees within a short time...

and then a new equator sets then another ice age..

what do you guys think??

what im more amazed by is how many people aren’t aware of this?

The bible speaks about peopeltrying to predict when the world will end!
It says that No Man knows the sate nor the hour when Christ himself returns!!!!

I've got to agree with Chris. Also the earth is in constant change. An elderly man that I know goes to Fla. every year and has his pic taken in the same place, he was looking at the pics and noticed that the once tall post that he was standing by was now quite a bit shorter. We cant worry about what tomorrow holds because we know who holds tomorrow. Trust HIM (GOD)he knows what HE is doing

That's so much bull. People started that junk about the year 2000. no one knows when the end of time is. no one but God, not even Jesus.

Just to warn you all..im 99.9% sure that the world will end sometime in the year 2012..probaly sometime in december!!so to all you freaks who are freaking out, yall better live your life to the fullest cuz we only have 5 more years left and time is running out and FAST!!!! Theres ALOT of evidence that it's truly gonna happen in 2012 and its soo obvious its gonna happen soon..i mean just look..global warming..more population of people during the years that means theres not going to be much room for all of us in earth and less food.. plus more hurricanes during the past few years and muchhh more happening....so all im telling you guys is that its goingggg to happen sometime 2012!! soo live your life and be happy for the last 5 years of ur life!!! good luck to you all.

Read the Bible you can get a translated copy. It will be the whole world, this world is a beautiful place but we as a people are destroying it and each other.

I was scared a year ago about 2012, but really, it is only God who knows for sure. Live your life to the fullest. For all you know, today is Earth's last day. Don't worry about it too much.

We cant worry about tomorrow(or what we did yesterday), we can only be our personal best today. No matter what you think will happen about the world ending know that the world we know today will be different , in one way or another, family passes away , we get married, have babies, move to other states/countries.It changes. We are not promised tomorrow, enjoy today be kind to family and friends let them know that you love them. Dont worry about something that you can not change.

Okay, I'm tired of superstition in Christianity. It's true that I'm no longer a Christian- or at least I don't follow as most of you would probably think I should... but I can't stand superstition in Christianity. For one, the fact that Christians tend to think the world is 6,000 years old... the world is much older than 6,000 years.

What does this have to with this post? Well most of you are under the impression that we cannot predict the point of our end. Sure the bible says, "no man knows the hour" but that's referring to Jesus' return, not the end of the world.

For instance if a meteor was heading for earth, and we saw it coming and we knew the time of impact couldn't we pretty much predict our end?

It just pisses me off because they you people talk, you're all saying we shouldn't even try to analyze information. Just not even try! I mean, it's that kind of thought that would have kept us in the bronze age. Maybe we should just stop using computers, or watching TV or abandon all technological advances because it doesn't help us!

I absolutely believe in God, but I also believe God created science and human logic. Sure, our logic isn't as perfect as God's Omniscient nature, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Now there is a lot of evidence that indicate that 2012 will be catastrophic. For one, the solar system will move into the center of the galaxy. Now, no one knows what that will cause, but still it might be important. Two, they believe this about the time where the world will change poles. If this occurs we may have a new equator and the ice caps may melt resulting floods and probably an ice age to follow. We already know that solar cycles do cause disasters to occur on earth, so imagine would will happen when the next sun cycle starts, the solar system is at the center of the galaxy and the earth switches poles all at the same time. That does sound rather coincidental that all these things happen at the same time, wouldn't you say?

I don't really believe in coincidence. Now, I'm not saying this will be the end of the world, but we should probably look for ways of preventing disasters from occuring instead of just saying.."let's let God deal with it...".. maybe God gave us brains so we can deal with it ourselves...

Also for those of you who are a bit superstitious... there are other things that point to 2012... for instance the bible code indicates something of importance in that year. Now for those of you who are familiar with the bible code, you should know that you can pretty much do that with any book and get a meaning out of it, but I just find it interesting that the bible code did point to the year 2012.

Now here's what concerns me. The bible speaks of needing 2 or 3 witnesses to confirm something that God is saying (I really forget where but I'm sure it was written by Paul). Two or three witnesses... the Mayans pointed to the year 2012, so does science and even the bible code...

I AM NOT SAYING that it's definitely relevant or that the world will DEFINITELY end.. I am saying maybe it's worth more investigating instead of just saying... "let God deal with it."
