I just wanted to say that I've been reading this forum and can't believe the number of people bashing the town of Harrison.
I'm from Harrison and have lived all over the USA, and I have yet to see a town that is as pretty and as clean, or as caring as Harrison and it's natives.
For those of you bashing, please move on and get a life.
There are much worse places that you could live and until you've experienced them, you shouldn't be opening your bigotted mouths about this town.
For those of you from here, I commend you. You have a clean and safe community in which to live.
I am proud to be from Harrison and one day look forward to moving back to this wonderful place where the people are genuine and caring.

If you want to see the perfect example of a really rotten town, just go a few hours south of Harrison.
El Dorado and Camden Arkansas are two of the most filthy, most corrupt places I've ever seen.
Be proud of Harrison because it is worth being proud of.

Harrison has it good points, but it will never be any different than it is. It is like stepping back in time after you move away and then come back. I don't think i could come back here and live ever again. I was born and raised there, lived her til 91 then moved away. I miss my friends but there is to many people that feel that they can tell you how to live your life there. Not for me anymore. I do however have very fond memories of several special people in Harrison.

I love Harrison and will be moving back in a couple of years. I've been all over the place in the last 40 years and no place has ever felt like home, as Harrison does.

I travel for my work, and agree with everybody else that until you have left Harrison you dont know how good you have it. There are a few unfortunate things about Harrison; corruption is bad, and younger people dont have much to do. I place the blame squarely on the people who get up and leave, nevering trying to make a difference. It wont change until good people get involved in the govt here, create businesses, and patronize the businesses. I'll stay here and keep trying because its home.
