Add this to Romney's little bag of dirty tricks, such as all blatant lies in his campaign ads and his fake photo ops! His campaign has trained over 36,000 volunteers to fan out in crucial swing states across the country. They have been told to look out for and identify voters who do not have a photo ID. This is strictly a way to harass and intimidate democrat voters-----which is voter suppression. So what is so wrong with this? These swing states do not require a photo ID to vote.

And let's not forget Romney's son, Tagg, who has bought into the company that runs Ohio voting machines. This guy claims he is honest but his actions and his lies speak otherwise.

Yep, no one does,---which proves Romney plans on intimidating voters at the polls in spite of an ID not being a requirement to vote.

Go to the Huffington Post and read an article about Project Orca. You are spreading information that is without base. Project Orca volunteers are told to follow the rules of the Election Officials at each place and to not interact with the voters!

That is not at all what the volunteers will be doing. If you support Obama, so be it, but please have some integrity and don't spread lies.. We are instructed to have no contact with any voters, and we are not allowed to have campaign paraphernalia of any kind. We are to be respectful and follow the direction of the poll manager completely. The Romney campaign has been abundantly clear about that.(If they wanted voter intimidation they probably wouldn't have picked a stay at home mom with 5 children.)

If you really want to scare people this Halloween, go trick-or-treating dressed as an Ohio voting machine.

The "black box" e-vote machines that Ohioans will use on November 6 are owned by Hart Intercivic but that disguises the real owner. Last year, Hart was taken over by an investment fund with the cryptic name of HIG Capital. Peek into HIG, and you'll find that of its 22 American directors, 21 are donors to Mitt Romney's campaign, and a third of them had been money managers at Bain & Company, the hedge fund that gave Mitt his start in corporate plundering.

But the enigma within Ohio's machines goes even deeper than these cozy partisan ties suggest, for HIG itself is largely owned by an inscrutable private equity creature called Solomere. Who dat? Solomere was formed by Romney's oldest son, Tagg, and financed by Mama Ann Romney and Uncle Scott Romney, with Papa Mitt himself chipping in $10 million and personally pitching Solomere to other rich investors.

Like father, like son Tagg cloaks the fund's operations through a dark maze of offshore tax shelters. And, now, the son has slipped out of Solomere to be a top campaign manager for his father. This slippery guy gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "playing Tagg."

One wonders if Tagg's campaign duties include "monitoring" Ohio's voting machines. Can the Romneys even spell conflict-of-interest? The people's trust in the fairness of our democratic elections has already been severely eroded by the unlimited corporate cash flooding into the process, but what are we to make of a multimillionaire presidential candidate with secret financial and crony control of the machines that can decide the outcome in this key swing state? I ask you: Of all the things the Romneys could invest in why voting machines?

all people should have to have an ID and we are just making sure all people follow this rule.
now if someone doesn't want to show their id we will show them the laws that says they can go to prison for committing voter fraud. all we are doing is providing a public service by making people aware of the law.
now we are meeting monday night before the election at the winter barn on 47 to discuss our Logan County voter ID awareness initiative for the Tuesday election. you are welcome to come if you would like.

I am one of the Project Orca volunteers. I have been to all of the trainings. They were very explicit in their instructions to not intimidate...or even interact with voters. All we are doing is collecting information to help the campaign, an act that has been LEGAL and utilized by both parties for over 100 years. Every polling place, by law. has to allow one pollster from each party to make sure no funny business is going on. Why does the left always cry foul, but the only proven foul play is on their side. It dates back to the Kennedy/Nixon election where even Kennedy admitted after he was elected that he should have lost IL if it weren't for the phony voters (votes made on behalf of dead citizens). We all want an honest election, and some of us are doing our part to make sure no one steals this election. Let the voters decide, not dishonest operatives from either side.

I am just appalled at all the spin. I am also an ORCA volunteer and this progra is just as presented in the earlier posts. It is ludicrous that folks would think we're out there to intimidate. We're there very legally and very simply, to ck off voters as they vote and to make sure everything is running smoothley. Why would anyone be concerned with such a thing, unless of course some are voter corruption? Both primary parties are allowed such a monitor.

To all the ORCA folks thanks for your insights. You see, the left is used to sending folks from the New Black Panther Party with nightsticks and they can't comprehend anyone doing such a thing on being on the up and up....but alas, misinformation is the left's middle name.

There are only two reasons why we show up.

1) to suppress the vote

2) we don't have anything else to do because we don't work.

What a pile of dribble. And if Obama wins it will be because of blatant lies, deception, and clueless idiots like the original poster! I AM a Orca Volunteer, and no I do NOT wear a Nazi Uniform. I don't care what article you quote from some leftest lying rag. Here is the truth.

1. We ARE credentialed by the local voting Authority. Where I live, that "authority" is a Democrat.

2. If we see someone voting without an ID, We are INSTRUCTED TO NOT INTERFERE! We simply note it.

3. We make sure that no one is harassed, interfered with. If they are... WE DO NOT GET INVOLVED, we notify authorities.

That's it! We follow the rules unlike the Obama supporters that have burned my signs and my AMERICAN FLAGS!

Tired of you lying scum!

Mark,

What is the purpose of noting it?

Why would someone burn your flag?

Why do you need to be credentialed?

What is the purpose of your presence?

Who are you voting for?

What is wrong with Obama?

Josh Mandel is a douchebaggg, is he not?

In answer to the last person's post.

WE need to be credentialed in order for our being there to be legal. Each candidate is allowed to have one person representing them in each polling place. We will have no contact with the voters. The democrats will also have their credentialed representatives in each polling place, but of course the MSM has not bothered to mention that little fact.

Unlike the NAACP, we will not be talking to voters, we will not be moving people to the front of the line, we will not be displaying in any way, other than our credential, that we are republican / independent / democrat. We will not know who anyone is voting for, just that they are there to vote.

In answer to your other question, "What is Wrong with Obama?"

Since he has come into office, my husband's pay has been cut in half. We looked forward to the stimulus Obama promised because his pay is based on the construction market. Where did that stimulus money go?
To companies who promptly filed for bankruptcy after receiving it.
To other countries to improve their oil-drilling
To Airlines in other countries who were competing with US companies.

We have three children. At one point during the last four years, I was working four part-time jobs, even though I have a Masters Degree. After having our third child, I now stay home, not by choice, but because it costs more in daycare then I was bringing home. Everything is trickle down, when Obama starts making the "rich" pay their fair share, guess who is going to help them pay for it? Will the daycare take on the full burden or will they pass it on to their customers? You want to see inflation skyrocket? Start over taxing the people who set the cost of their products.

What else is wrong with Obama? What has he done for us? You say Obamacare, I say, "Look at how many doctors do not accept Medicare or Medicaid because of the ridiculous prices they require doctors to accept. Because those prices are so low, doctors need to see more patients to cover their overhead. One of the doctors I worked for, was paying $450,000 in order to insure his practice. That is not how much he was insuring it for, that was how much he had to pay. The problem with healthcare is not the doctors, nor does it start with the insurance companies, it begins with the legal system and the lawyers. Why did he not go after that problem first? Obamacare is not going to work because there are still going to be the frivolous lawsuits, but there will be even more cases because the doctor to patient ratio is going to be outrageous.

Another may argue, he is for gay rights. Well that is fine, but he spent an extremely large amount of his time for a very small <2% of the population. Not saying that does not need to be addressed, but there are many more pressing issues that are effecting 100% of us.

Why did he lie to the American public about Benghazi? Even further, why does the MSM change the subject or not press him on this issue?

He has no business experience and barely had ANY experience before taking over the presidency. What are his KSA's? He can weave a web with his words, I was almost swayed by him in 2008, but a got my head on straight. I stopped listening to his speeches and I started doing my own research. Guess what, he did not have any qualifications, much less, qualifications to be an effective president. He became president because he is affective, but what we need is an effective president.

He does not deserve a second chance when the ability to feed my children is on the line.

I am a trained Project ORCA worker. We were never asked to make sure that anyone had an I.D. or intimidate any voters. We are at the polling locations to watch for suspicious activity and report to the campaign.
