I'm with ya. Me and all my friends fell for his song and dance in 08 but we have since woke up. Romney is our only chance to keep our freedom and economy. He is a businessman.

Bob Woodward:'Obama Is Proposing Cutting Medicare'

On the campaign trail, Barack Obama is claiming that if reelected, he would save Medicare while Mitt Romney will kill it.

Yet the Washington Post's Bob Woodward said on MSNBC's Morning Joe Wednesday the president "is proposing cutting Medicare" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It really makes you wonder what is in some people's heads. Think about this:
"We're sitting here and we have the worst president certainly in my lifetime and maybe in the history of the country. We've got an economy falling apart. We've got foreign policy falling apart. And our dead ambassador in Benghazi. We shouldn't need this tape to dispatch Obama." -Rush

Your perspective of hate is not my perspective. As far as I am concerned, Obama is one of the greatest presidents that will go down in history. Unfortunately, your tea-bag-republican party political mentality will not be on the right side of history and will be scorned by future generations. This is 2012, and no longer the dark ages. Some people evolve, others don't, so it's easy to see where you fit in that picture. The world will progress forward, but of your own chosing, you will be left far behind. Fine with me, because we no longer have use for people as you.

What is it that makes OBAMA the greatest? Washington established our country, Lincoln saved it plus FREED A RACE, FDR
saved us from fascism, Reagan won the Cold War, but what has OBLAMA done to equal or trump these great presidents? Perhaps you should first define "greatness," before you tell me what makes OBAMA so "great" that he will go down in history.

I voted early on Tuesday for President Obama---not 'this guy.'

Obama's greatness is that he is for the poor and the middle class, and all minorities, instead of just for the 53% rich corporate masters. He is also a crusader fighting against fascist corporatism from taking over this great country. Obama also caught and killed the evil man responsible for 9-1-1....you know, the guy that W gave up on catching because he felt it was no longer important. That's my take on it.

Last nght, President Obama proved that Jimmy Carter was our second worst President at debating a failed record. Did he prepare at all for this? He was horrible. I thought the Secret Service was going to swoop in and take him home. He was so bad that even Michelle Obama wanted to go home with Mitt last night.

A bump of 5 points in the polls is forthcoming for Mitt..... if the polls are accurate.

Well, what u listed that makes him great, dwarfs, feeing the slaves & winning a civil war, establishing our nation, and winning a world war, that is "for shore." As for facist corporations, are the bankrupt green enegy corporation that OBLAMA has given billions to at the cost of you &
me, FACIST too. I never hear u mention these corporations. WHY NOT? 4 billion for oil, 90+ billion for green energy. "Consistency, thou art a jewel."

If I was a conservative I would be shaking in mine. He pretty much threw you all under the bus last night. Romney is a lot of things, but a conservative is not one of them.

We see here the typical emotionally wrought referral to "hate" which is often the common language of the left. Disagree with someone - its hate. The reality is your language, your attitude and your very being is the very embodiment of hate. There is a very good chance that those future generations will look back at folks like you and say "why did you support someone who buried me in debt?" What were you thinking when you supported policies which ultimately led to the youth of today being the 1st who did NOT have the opportunity as previous generations had. Why did you ignore the financial cliff and choose a rigid idealogy which was failing? You alleged "evolving" is simply a devolving into a failed philosophy of something similiar to European socialism and that is not progress. Ask the folks in Greece, in Spain and elsewhere in Europe. What they hate is a government which could not keep its promises, the same thing which you support.

Don't forget that $10 trillion of that debt belongs to BUSH, so they will be aiming part of their blame toward him. It's so lame of you to try to pen 30 years of conservative trickle down goofs to this president who has been in office for only 4 years! Obama's polcies do protect the kids in the furture insuring them the same opportunities as past generations---what are you talking about? Obama wants to invest in the future in education. The republicans want to dissolve the value of Pell grants making it more difficult for any kid in the now or in the future from getting a good education where he can get a higher paying carreer. Obama policies also make sure the kids of today stay fed and don't go hungry, can have healthcare, so they can concentrate in school and safely grow up to have kids of their own. Your party, however, worries so much about an unborn embryo, but once it develops into a full fledged baby and is born, you want to cut all programs that will insure it a good start in life----foodstamps, free shcool lunches, Wic, education opportunities and rob it of health care! I'm sick of your accusing this president's policies as policies that will deny generations to come a chance, when all your party does is intend to take away programs that help people and deny them a healthy existence to make the rich even richer.

When you speak of "the People" just who are you speaking for? You and yours? Just Republicans and what they want? Just the rich? You are always insisting half of America must sacrifice their very livlihoods to enable your half to thrive. Your're OFF YOUR FREAKING ROCKER!

Why do I feel this sense of deja vu? Oh, wait....it must be because some posters just keep saying the same things OVER and OVER again.

This is an important election, yes. However, some of these comments need to go on the beat a dead horse thread. Make your point on a subject, then let it go, for Heaven's sake. If you didn't convince someone you were right the first three times you wrote out your thoughts, chances are the fourth, fifth or however many times you post it, they are still not going to agree.

Please, hurry up and get here, November 6th!!

OK, rant over....thank you for reading.
