I see that they are looking for workers, does anyone work there and is it a good place to work? Is it full or part time work? Would like to hear the pros and cons from someone who has experience with them, thanks.

They are getting ready for the launch of a new vehicles at ELP and Honda uses SQ. If things get busy u will get hours for a couple months but once the launch is over the hours go away. They will work you all they can but since they are a third party company they cannot guarantee hours. This is a good job for part help only in my opinion.

The Job sucks you travel far in your own car and dont get payed mileage until after 45 miles. we are under payed with no benifits and they will hire more people then they need and let the new employees have more hours than the vertarns. and promotions are handed out like spot on dodge ball teams in high school popular kids get picked first.

Sure hope your not getting paid to check parts with labels on them!!!

My husband just got hired there. He was suppose to start last week but uniforms didn't come in, so they put him on call. Who knows when he will start. I don't like that you have to call in everyday to find out where you will be working that day IF you will be working that day. He is still looking for a job because I think this will be a temporary job, as soon as the factories cut back again, this place will close just like Product Action did. Everytime I turn on the news and hear how the economy is improving I just want to reach into the television and strangle someone!! He has been laid off since June and he applies for everything he qualifies for, he goes to job fairs he calls places and NOTHING!!!!! So he has to take a job like this knowing it will only be a matter of time before he is laid off again!!!

This is correct. Although he will eventually get some hours for SQ it will only be a matter of time before he starts to work less and less.

i worked for them and it is the most unreliable company to work for.they call you for work, then they call you back 5 min. later just to tell you they cancelled

I don't understand why in the hell they keep running help wanted ads in the newpaper, when they don't have any work available for the people they currently have. I don't recommend anyone apply, they will hire you and get your hopes up believing you have FINALLY found a job and then they don't have any work available!!!!

i worked for this company. this company isn't one to work for. The superviser bobby bradford curse you out no respect for you at all. they throw you on a job and dont show you the right way to do the job. the job tells lies to the owner let him think that they are doing a good job but they aren't.

The biggest problem I had was they'd call you a half an hour before your start time. That is not enough time to get kids to a sitter and get there to work a full shift. It stinks getting ready and waiting on a call that may or may not come. It's Product Action all over again.

It has to be one of the most unprofessional businesses ever! Promote the lazy people to team leaders that have no disire to lead a team or even work and the Managers think they are the greatest things in the world. they email or text you instead of actually talking to you face to face. They don't give credit to people it is owned to! and tell the lazy people that they are so great and don't want to lose them.

After reading what others have written it is very obvious that the "attitude" has a lot to do with when, where and how the jobs are given. I have worked with SQ for over a year and a half and have met good people, bad people, lazy people and people who would work to death for this company. As in all companies, it is the people who are out there doing the jobs that make a difference. No, there is not a lot of "glory" and recognition to doing the job. But, I do this job for the money to support my family, not the pat on the back for just showing up. No one owes me a living and SQ has given me the chance to do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. The REAL facts are that they pay mileage after 30 miles and also pay you to make that drive after 30 minutes after you leave. Most larger companies don't even pay you for that trip. SQ has problems because of the nature of the work. If one can't work that way or pay the dues, then go somewhere else. It is NOT for the lazy or for people who expect to get paid just for showing up for work. SQ is a good company to work for if you want to make an honest wage.

Obviously not too bright. Statosphere takes advantage of their employees. Most larger companies do not treat their employees this way. Obviously you lack the education needed to get a real job. Quit preaching this crap. You know Stratosphere is one of the fastest growing companies and is gaining this momentum by abusing their employees. Every time you turn around they are discovering new ways to strip employees wages. No you don't get mileage reimbursement. Yes this is a new way of stripping more pay from the employees. You can claim the mileage on your tax return. OK, pay your employees minimum wage. Make them travel hundreds of miles back and forth to work and tell them to use the credit card for gas. How many people do you know earning minimum wage have the funds to maintain a car that can drive SEVERAL hundred miles per week? Stratosphere should be on the front page of every newspaper in America. Not because they are this great company but because they are abusing the current economic condition to take advantage of hard working people.
