I'm partial to my ole faithful: a 1905 Browning Baby in .25 ACP. The action has been honed and the barrel accurized by the best gunsmiths in the business. She's got Meprolight Tri-Dot night sights and a mount for a laser when I choose to carry one. I've had them add a transfer bar safety so I can feel confident in carrying a round in the pipe while sleeping with her next to my pillow. For big school and church socials I often pack along two or three 30-round magazines of award-winning Black Talon teflon coated cop-killer bullets to shred the opposition to pink slivers. Life don't get no sweeter than that, honey!

I like the Beretta 85 380

Sometimes switch off to the Beretta mod 21a with the tip up barrel.

Wife likes the Ruger SP101 32 mag. I think its a bit heavy.

I carry a Smith Bodyguard but am about to transition to a Ruger 9mm. I have several Glocks but have never been able to get comfortable with the safety or lack thereof, I also have several 1911's but again struggle with keeping them cocked and locked. If I was a LEO and had a ridged holster that I carried the weapon in I would probably carry the Glock.

Sure sounds like your someone who expects someone else to take care of them and any problems that come up.

Take care of yourself, be prepared, and be ready to defend yourself and your family.
Go ahead outlaw guns and only criminals will have them.

I've know 3 people who owned a MR Desert Eagle and they didn't keep it very long. It jams, pain to keep clean and it has a small clip. I'd rather have a $150 high point .45 (you can save $1500 and still have an unreliable gun).
