Answer to your questions?? I used to sell schwans, very good food. Only a few things I did not like. Advise... Jump on line to website, prepare order for driver for next delivery. This makes it much easier for him and or her. Also- Check, Credit Card, Cash and Food stamps accepted. And don't forget that their is a FUEL CHARGE I believe of $2.00.
Good Luck!

It is vanilla and organge sherbert swirled together...delicious! They have a special flavor or 2 every season. And when Thanksgiving comes...I highly suggest EVERYONE get a pumpkin pie...they are wonderful!

The Schwan's man that replied on here said they do, but back when my ex step father worked for the company, you could only get $50 worth a month. They are kind of expensive...but not on Novelties....EX. 24 Sundae Cones for like $10.00. And they are not generic by any means...chocolate coating inside the cone and everything...my husband loves them. 24 Fudgesicles for like $10. But their meat is expensive.

Ah, the Schwan's delicacies would be wasted on the kiddies. Let them pig out on the PBJ and mac'n'cheese at the free welfare lunch! Save the good stuff for the grownups.

The Schwan man used to come to our house, until the incident. Then he didn't come back anymore.
As I remember, he knocked. I answered, I said yeah, I want this and this and this, and my son who was about 6 at the time, said I want push up pops. I declined. At that point, the boy was inclined to do what all kids who aren't getting their way do, and proceeded to fling himself on the ground and scream and trash in a frenzy proclaiming he wanted push up pops. The poor drive was terrified at the site of the tantrum. I didn't buckle though being the experienced mother that I was. As soon as the kid realized I had gotten something else he had wanted the tantrum stopped. The driver having somehow in his short life span never witnessed a temper tantrum before, and had thought that my son was having a seizure. I laughed. He never came back. The incident was forever known as the push up pop seizure.

Schwann's carries much more than ice cream. They offer all kinds of foods and prepared meals.

I haven't bought anything from the Shwann's truck for many years. Some things were pretty good but a little pricey.

I get a few things from them. I really like the pizza's and ice cream. It's nice to have a couple of their frozen dinners on hand when you need to put together a fast supper. I don't buy the meat....it is a bit pricey.

Actually, when my step-father worked for him, his route was in Dayton and he had a lot of food stamp customers. It was generally older people that couldn't get around very well. Although parents would buy treats for their kids. If you break the novelties down...it's like a box of 6 for $2.50...same as a grocery store.

I like Schwan's products just find them a little too pricey. They have alot to choose from but I think I will pass.
