Ryan's bill does nothing to create jobs or to fix the economy. It's an austerity bill, in a time when we need to invest in our infrastructure he wants to cut everything. It does not make any practical sense. Paul Ryan is not an economist he is a politician building a political career .
The debt is the biggest challege our country faces. In fact, I feel we are the brink of economic "dudu" because of it. When a nation or any entity borrows
43 cents out of every dollar it spends, disaster is soon to happen. You sir, do not realize that. Sir, you & others like you have had it so good for so long that your not willing to face the situation.

Right but the debt is the a major issue in our current financial situation. It creates uncertainty. What business or individual in their right mind would want to invest in this country when it has no clue how it plans to address one of the major problems facing us. How can we address China and the trade and monetary issues when they own so much of us already and are a prime contributor to lending us money. Why would a business or individual invest when they see that earnings or profit will be consumed by the government? How will we support the poor when in less than a decade the interest on the debt will No - it is not BS and it is you who seem oblivious to its dangers. When you say addressing it long term you are making a point - you just want to pass it on to future generations and you call that fair? How and when we address the debt/deficit issue for the long term will define the next generations. We have an opportunity to put us on such a path now and the Ryan budget is a beginning. So, what is your beginning? Where is the President's plan? Best I can tell carping is about all you got.
No it isn't another lie. Your entire response is based on lies and distortions.
Think for yourself if it's possible. Everything you've said comes from Republican spin and talking points. There is no research, no original thought. I can't talk to someone who is too lazy to think.

And this from an individual who would select a crude symbol showing an animal sucking its own appendage. Next you will tell me Obama's ears are the way they are from being grabbed to hold his head down.

Criticizing anothers spelling & typing is the last refuge of a scoundrel whose sentence structure leaves lots to be desired.

Well Woo - its not spin or lies or distortion that is the reason you can't talk. You have no answers and neither does this President. The President and you cannot run and hide behind rhetorical flourishes and vague hope and change promises. Facts are stubborn things and simply because you choose to ignore them doesn't mean everyone else will. Keep on pushin' status quo - most folks realize it cannot continue but apparently they don't live in the same world you do - they live in a world of reality.

All you have presented is political spin that's it. come back when you can use your own thoughts.

You really don't have the ability to discuss anything because you've already got your mind made up before you enter the discussion. You can not find solutions that way.

And you think your "original thoughts" are not political spin? Read yourself sometime. This is just an excuse your trying to use. When you have nothing you answer in vague generalities and accusations of political spin. I guess 15 Trillion + and climbing is political spin. I guess the 10 year projection by even this administration of a 26 Trillion dollar debt is political spin. I guess the fourth year in a row of 1 Trillion dollar deficits is political spin. I guess all the unfunded entitlement costs just sitting out there for federal, state and local government is political spin. The fact that some cities are declaring bankruptcy is political spin,eh? The problem goes beyond you having no answers Woo - the problem is you don't seem know the difference between reality and political spin. Hiding behind the political spin line doesn't make these things go away even if you want to bury you head in the sand.

It may not have created the present economic problems, but it can affect our economy. We are seeing actual proof of this in Europe right now.

Investment has NOT worked in Europe. It has only led to default.

There are lessons for us to learn from in Europe right now.

I am so glad that you do not fit any of the traits that you attribute to us. You are right about me. My mind is made up. I consider anybody who would fall the Obama scam again to be a total idiot and an America hater.

When the economy is tanking the govt shouldn't cut spending.

Should we do what Europe did initially and increase spending? That strategy led to the European debt crisis. Do we want to deal with those headaches in the near future? I will take a pass on that and most American would if they understood how it would affect them.

How bout we cut medicare and SS and use that money to pay off the debt? Besides, the old farts were the ones who benefited the most from the excess borrowing.
