There can be no doubt that guns are not the problem when it comes to violence.

Because guns have only the potential to kill. And could never be considered as the primary reason for violence.

The primary reason for violence is much deeper then the gun.

For one to credit guns with violence is like one crediting atheism for God.

And there remains much talk concerning mental health.

But much of violent mental health is skewed via societal norms that have run a muck.

As society's lose their boundary's for right and proper conduct, this loss feeds into the violent mental health of some individuals.

All societies remain no better and no worse then the moral boundaries that society's have in place.

And if the families within societies overall have little to no boundary's for right and proper conduct. Then the societies as a whole are the recipients of these failures. And this is clearly being played out in our current day!

Individuals do not just pick up guns and kill. These monsters are trained to kill via the cultures they live in.

And via the messages that culture sends to them.

How could one ever believe that there would be no killings given the moral breakdowns within our present culture?

If the family's are broke, the culture is broke.

Removing guns do not heal broken family's, nor does it heal broken individuals. Nor does it heal broken societies.

Below is only a very short list of the maladies that continue to feed and fatten many of these monsters. As these unmoral behaviors play out daily within our society.

And as our nation continues to be desensitized via the unmoral behaviors only calamity can result.

Why is it that we acknowledge these things. But some how, now its all of a sudden a gun problem? And not a moral/responsibility problem.

It is not a gun problem! It is a moral breakdown problem!

Guns have no ability to be moral, individuals do!

One cannot treat the symptoms to correct the root causes! What are the causes? Moral breakdowns rampant within society.

Every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause.

What is the cause? Rampant moral breakdowns in society. What are the effects? Rampant violence and other maladies.

The will to commit violence is a learned behavour.

And it starts when a society removes the boundaries that encourages right and wrong personal behavour and responsibility.

The strongest boundaries a society has are always based upon love and morality!

The weakest are based upon immorality as the boundaries of right and wrong are removed via liberal thought.

And as the boundaries of right and wrong are removed via liberal and atheist thought. The violent are indirectly given permission to continue.

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, the taking of life, broken faith between the married, unclean desires of the flesh,{Homosexuality-homosexua l-pedophilia-poligamy-adultry} taking of property, false witness, bitter words:

All societal norms continue to be skewed from the proliferation of homosexuality/lesbianism taught to school children, Polygamy, division within the home, out of wedlock births, mothers/fathers absent, children farmed out to homosexuals, no female role model, rampant welfare, gambling, lotto, alcohol, dope, reality TV, homosexual, lesbian, heterosexual domestic violence, unlimited access to the internet, homosexual pedophile priest, unlimited, unsupervised access to violent video imagery, a sense of discord/divisiveness within all culture, law enforce ridiculed, atheist frivolous law suits to remove culture norms, all Christian organizations under attack, gender selection abortions.

Attempting to redefine marriage which removes the purpose and benefits that heterosexual marriage provides to children and to a society, in an attempt to shift the essential needs of marriage and family to a culture, to the inessential needs of the single homosexual. These are just for starters as to why there is such violence. Blame the liberal adults!

Schools basically have become nothing more then the catch-basins that all the corrupt culture sewers drain into.

With rampant homosexuality/lesbianism/polyg amy taught to children the same age as those killed recently.

Take a good look because many of you are the ones responsible for it.

Condom dispensers, more symptoms of a broken society.

Metal detectors in school, more symptoms of a broken society.

Drug sniffing dogs in schools, more symptoms of a broken society.

Crises counselors in the schools, more symptoms of a broken society.

Special security entrances and lock downs, more symptoms of a broken society.

Children whisked away from school via educators to receive instruction concerning the proper steps to obtain an abortion without the parents knowledge. More symptoms of a broken society.

Philadelphia installing condom dispensers in high schools to combat teen STDs

Published December 23, 2012

When Philadelphia high school students return from their holiday break, many will find school officials handing out gifts to even the naughty boys and girls: free condoms.

The city is rolling out condom dispensers at 22 high schools, part of what officials say is an attempt to address an alarming public health crisis.

There is "an epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases in adolescents in Philadelphia," Donald Schwartz, deputy mayor for health and opportunity, told Philly.com .

The city has given out 4 million condoms since April 2011, and that has coincided with a drop in STD rates, Philly.com reports, but school leaders are concerned that teens still account for a fourth of new STD cases in the city.

"This is a serious public health matter," Mayor Michael Nutter told Philly.com .

The condoms will be available for free at the third of the city's high schools with the highest STD rates, but only to students whose parents haven't signed a form opting out of the program.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. We need to hit our kids more. What total fcking retard!

You probably have trouble expressing yourself with words so you need to result with the threat of violence.

The Epidemic : The Rot of American Culture, Absentee and Permissive Parenting, and the Resultant Plague of Joyless, Selfish Children

From an esteemed child psychiatrist: a bold, fresh, and controversial look at the faddish child-rearing practices that have created a nation of children who are depressed, alienated, often amoral, and all too often violent. The shock of the Columbine shootings and other school violence has generated a national debate, and there's a dawning realization that something incomprehensible is happening: our privileged, pampered children are turning into monsters at an alarming rate.

With years of study and first-hand experience, Dr. Robert Shaw exposes the roots of what he calls The Epidemic: the violence and the more subtle behaviour problems that are jeopardizing a generation. In this eye-opening book, Dr. Shaw explains that the "advanced" parenting methods experts have promoted for the last thirty years have helped to create a nation of children who are detached loners, unable to form meaningful relationships. From infancy through the teen years, Dr. Shaw provides a map back to sanity that tracks specific misguided parenting techniques and shows parents how to get and keep their children on track and create the environment necessary for a healthy psychological future.

Some of the important ground Dr. Shaw covers includes:

The myths and realities of bonding and attachment
How to recognize when day care is working - and when it isn't
Landmarks to look for in your children's moral and ethical development
Self-centeredness versus self-esteem
Keeping the media from mugging your child
What can be done with a child who is out of control

Dr. Shaw challenges us to confront a very real problem, then helps us take steps forward using common sense and humanity. The Epidemic calls us to become better parents—and feel better about the choices we make for our children.

Don south started a thread titled "is rural America becoming less relevant?"

Your batsht state of mind is why you and your herd are irrelevant.

The educated young people are moving away from Logan county because of how incompetent the older folk in the area are.

No proper disiplane?

I hate to tell you but Jesus was a Jew and less than 1/5 of the world population follows Christianity.

Yes Don it is a sad state of affairs the nation finds itself in.

And as I said before a lot of these posters are at the very least indirectly responsible for much of the violence we see in our nation.

The corrupt beliefs many of them hold actually create these monsters.

And guns give them an easy out. If helps them remain in denial concerning the real reason we have these monsters and the part they play in creating them.

Guns remain only the symptom, but the beliefs many hold here are the cause. Their belief systems is what drives these monsters.

Even the mention of disciplining a young person sends them over the edge.

Clearly this thread serves as a window into their insanity concerning the violence we have seen of late.

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

Jesus Christ said this is what happens when a society has no disciplines and benchmarks for right and wrong.

Many are brick by brick dismantling the foundations that once made out nation somewhat civil and accountable.

Rampant liberalism and rampant atheism are the fuel that ignites much of this violence. Because both sow discord and confusion.

And there can be no question whatsoever that it has been the moral breakdown within our culture that stands at the top as being responsible for all the violence. But the liberals and atheist of a culture is what drives it!

And then all the other corrupt nuances play out under the umbrella of all the broken morals they drive. Such as broken heterosexual marriage-homosexuality, homosexual pedophilia, lesbianism, polygamy, heterosexual-homosexual-lesbia n domestic violence, children born out of wedlock, children deprived of a male-female in the home, Monsters creating children to be given to homosexuals, And a host of other insanities.

Yes I am afraid these are the cold hard facts concerning what we are seeing.

And guns only serve as a diversionary tactic from the real reason for all this violence.

Only a fool would believe that removing a handful of guns could solve this problem.

No! Its a bit more involved then that!

Obama truly is a Judas and had done much to perpetuate the violence. His policies continue to weaken the heterosexual family. As the corrupt homosexual is sent to the front of the line.

And all this does is send the wrong message to the young concerning what is right and proper. It does nothing but to build confusion concerning family and family norms.

Children need a government with policies that encourages strong heterosexual family's.

All polices that support homosexual/lesbian unions destroy the meaning and purpose and benefits that the heterosexual family provides to children first and then to a nation as a whole.

"As a man thinks in his heart, so is he."

Violence has always been a part of the human condition because of our sin nature (Rom. 3:23). But modern families are exposed to even more violence than previous generations because of the media. Any night of the week, the average viewer can see levels of violence approaching and even exceeding the Roman Gladiator games.

Does this have an effect? Certainly it does. The Bible teaches that "as a man thinks in his heart, so is he" (Prov. 23:7). What we view and what we think about affects our actions.

Defenders of television programs say that isn't true. They contend that televised imagery doesn't make people violent nor does it make people callous to suffering. But if televised imagery doesn't affect human behavior, then the TV networks should refund billions of advertising dollars to TV sponsors.

In essence, TV executives are talking out of both sides of their mouths. On the one hand, they try to convince advertisers that a 30-second commercial can influence consumer behavior. On the other hand, they deny that a one-hour program wrapped around the commercials can influence social behavior.

So, how violent is the media? And what impact does media have on members of our family? First, we will look at violence in the movies, and then we'll take up the issue of violence on television.

Ezra Pound once said that artists are "the antennae of the race." If that is so, then we are a very sick society judging by the latest fare of violence in the movies. The body count is staggering: 32 people are killed in "RoboCop," while 81 are killed in the sequel; 264 are killed in "Die Hard 2," and the film "Silence of the Lambs" deals with a psychopath who murders women and skins them.

Who would have imagined just a few years ago that the top grossing films would be replete with blood, gore, and violence? No wonder some film critics now say that the most violent place on earth is the Hollywood set.

Violence has always been a part of movie-making, but until recently, really violent movies were only seen by the fringe of mass culture. Violence now has gone mainstream. Bloody films are being watched by more than just punk rockers. Family station wagons and vans pull up to movie theaters showing R-rated slasher films. And middle America watches these same programs a few months later on cable TV or on video. Many of the movies seen at home wouldn't have been shown in theaters 10-20 years ago.

Movie violence these days is louder, bloodier, and more anatomically precise than ever before. When a bad guy was shot in a black-and-white Western, the most we saw was a puff of smoke and a few drops of fake blood. Now the sights, sounds, and special effects often jar us more than the real thing. Slow motion, pyrotechnics, and a penchant for leaving nothing to the imagination all conspire to make movies and TV shows more gruesome than ever.

Children especially confront an increasingly violent world with few limits. As concerned parents and citizens we must do what we can to reduce the level of violence in our society through the wise use of discernment and public policy. We need to set limits both in our homes and in the community.
