I can't even image how he feels
I'm sad that someone so young felt that this was the only solution to their situation. And yes, finding someone this way...I feel bad for them as well.

Someone my brother knows was behind the person who found the girl hanging! They were at the park playing frisbee golf! Said it was horrible. Police had it cleaned up verry fast! I feel like if it wasn't suacide it wouldn't have been cleaned up so fast! I drove by at about 7. Not even one person was at the park! Has to be a suicide! I send my regrets to the family! Someone so young! Its tragic!

It gets swept under the rug. We cant have things like murder and suicide in the picturesque town of Bellefontaine(obvious sarcasm). I wouldnt be suprised if this blurb in the examiner is all you hear about it.

Too late. The name was already posted on another thread. Not repeating it. Hazel and LCM are some of the sweetest posters on Topix. Hope this death was not another victim of cyberbullying. That's why I get upset about Topix and go off on some posters. Best to the family.

I agree.

It's pretty sad, I found out in a forward. At first I thought it was a dumb fake forward. Then my stepdad , who works at the elementary, told me about it. We did a drive by at about 9 and nobody was there.

The worst part for me is that I walk through that area everyday coming home from school. I can't help but think if she was hanging there when I walked through.

And best regards to the family. I can only imagine what they're going through.

Suicide near Rutan Park

05/13/2010

A city woman died from an apparent suicide near Rutan Park earlier this week.

The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Amanda Bullock, 30, of 308 North Madriver Street, was found hanging by a rope from a bridge railing in the 700 block of Allison Road Wednesday afternoon around five o’clock.

Two young men playing disc golf at Rutan Park discovered the body.

A backpack and other personal items were found nearby.

Logan County Coroner Dr. Michael Failor says Bullock died Tuesday evening around seven o’clock. Her body was transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.

While searching Bullock’s residence, officers found a receipt for 20 feet of nylon rope. She purchased the rope late Tuesday afternoon.

Officers did not find a suicide note.

Bellefontaine Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

This was the second suicide in the county this week.
