Just curious...Louie Vito has all the visible signs of dwarfism genetics (extremely long torso, very short legs, and bubble shaped rear end) and ever since I watched him on Dancing With the Stars I have wondered if he is a dwarf or has any dwarfism genetics. I am in NO WAY making fun, just curious. As a matter-of-fact I would respect his talents EVEN MORE if he does have dwarfism because that would show even how much more of a success story he is!

Always glad to put a smile on anyone's face...but seriously I wasn't making fun...I hope everyone reading this realizes that I am genuine in my curiousity of this subject. I would almost bet dimes to donuts that he does have dwarfism genetics which seems to work wonderfully in his sport (low center of gravity)!

Curious...I've often thought the same thing. Seriously, and I understand why you're (trying) to be delicate when asking. There are definitely some features that make you think so (I even think his face has "dwarf-like" features. However, I do not BELIEVE there is any dwarfism in his family.

I'm glad someone else brought this up though. I sure as hell have never had the balls to say anything to anyone (aside from my wife).

That family is a great family and Louie deserves everything he has earned due to his dedication and hard work.

I GREATLY appreciate u not judging me by asking because most readers & commenters on here would immediately make a 'snap judgment' that i was making fun. I also agree with you that he also has facial features of dwarfism & even his voice has a bit of the same tone as some afflicted with dwarfism. Thanks again for justifying my curiousity on this. It is good to know that others have noticed/questioned this...

I think it's in the water. There are a LOT of short-stature men around the LC. I don't think it has anything to do with Dwarfism.

Curious,
Hopefully it just doesn't turn into a bash fest, or people acting like children and making fun. Louie and his family are too good to have to read crap like that on here. I think your OP was a tasteful way to bring up a question that many others are curious about (search google...it's not just Topix asking).

His thyroid and hormone regulation issues are to blame, in part for his Dwarfism and puffy eye condition.
So he DOES have a confirmed medical situation causing the dwarflike features or were you just joking? I ask because sooo many people on here will take a genuinely serious topic and turn it into something negative and that is NOT the intention here.

Come on now...he isn't what the average person would consider "short"...he has abnormally short limbs & very long torso...

Are you certain? I think he's fairly "short." And that's saying a lot considering the fact that I'm only 5'0" myself. Isn't he only about 5'4"?

I did a Google search...several list him as 5'5" and a couple at 5'4". I would say that's a pretty short guy. My husband is 5'8" and considered average height.

No he doesn't have any medical conditions that makes him short. AC doesn't like anything or anyone so he has to act like an idiot!

Curious, never take anything that Animal Control says as serious. He can be a bit wacky.

I think it runs in the family. His dad kinda looks like the troll from the movie Willow.

Don't make fun of short phat people. It hurts my feelings. It does run in the family, just like diarrhea, it runs in your jeans. My very own Father, I always told him it was easier to step over him than to walk all the way around. Just kidding

How tall are you Jenny? Lol. I know that I'm "super short." And no, it's not from a medical condition lol.

Look at a picture of Loiue beside a picture of the kid from the roloffs. They could be twins.

Dwarfism is an all or nothing kind of thing! You either got it or you don't and THEY DON'T!!!!! Sometimes the best things come in small packages and in this case it REALLY did.
Louie is a SHORT, Cute, Adorable, Talented, competitive, successful, financially savy, SMART, sweet, normal?, muscular, above average, OLYMPIC, sexy, famous, Manly, STAR!!!! Someone for us all (even us with grey hair) to like. He could date one of my grandaughters anytime.(if a chaperon goes along)
