Do they ever wear street clothes? I have never seen my neighbor wear regular clothes. Maybe he just likes white.

Maybe Honda pays for the laundry. Wouldn't you love to always have fresh clean clothes without ever running the washing machine or ever ironing? Think of never having to wonder what to wear

The word of the day is

Invidiousness

It can derive from a sense of low self-esteem that results from an upward social comparison threatening a person's self image: another person has something that the envier considers to be important to have. If the other person is perceived to be similar to the envier, the aroused envy will be particularly intense, because it signals to the envier that it just as well could have been he or she who had the desired object.

I wash my husbands uniforms, so think again.
A status thing? Lots of employees wear uniforms. Nurse, McDonalds employees, well almost all fast food employees, mechanics, and the list goes on.

Oh,here we go again..no. Honda associates are welded into their uniforms when they are hired. This is because the yakuza won't let US associates get real tattoos, since we are all only temporary members. The only way to escape from the whites is to resign, get fired for illicit sex in the parking lot, take a buy out, or retire.
At that time the associate is carefully cut out of their uniform and sent on their merry way, to live out the rest of their life in poverty after declaring their 3rd bankruptcy. Really? What the hell kind of dumbass question is that??

They are keeping the economy going. I suppose you think they should go home, change clothes. drive back to town, buy gas and go to bank and grocery. I would say they were minding their own business. They work hard for their money. MYOB
p.s. Someone has to pay those school bond issues.

Some of us doon't work for honda or an affiliated company and still live very well. My husband makes what they do and has great insurance and a 401k. He also wears his uniform a lot but it's not white. Honda employees work hard for their money just like anyone else does. They aren't better than us, they just work at a different place than we do. Whoever started this forum needs to get a job.

I know a lot of honda employees are often seen coming home or going to work. and often times i know on second shift it was always easier to put the uniform on after you were up and around instead of changing twice. honda works kinda weird hours so it is kinda hard sometimes to find time get things done so that maybe possably why they seem to always be in uniform.

Or here's one for you....maybe he's always working! And quite clearly you aren't, otherwise you would have more to do than worry bout what your neighbor is wearing. The white uniform just stands out more, there are people in uniform all the time doing business in town, theirs just doesnt stand out as much...get a life..and even better get a job...and then maybe you can wear your uniform around town. LOL

Heck, if my employer would provide me with my work clothes and launder them too, I'd wear them Mon-Fri till I went to bed. It's expensive buying your typical business casual and a pain to do laundry as well as the Dry Cleaning bill. I get so sick of Sally griping about Clare's wardrobe everyday @ work. If they wore the same outfit, that would shut her up. Think about the money and time we could save Annually. I'd mow my yard in my uniform, I'd mow your yard in my uniform. Honda employees don't irritate me at all when I see them beboppin around town running errands in uniform. I think about the $ and time it is saving them. And when someone greets me and I cannot remember their name, I just read it. Just sayin.
