<quoted text>like girls & boys BBall this year? If u were at the game last night u would have seen there is NO talent coming up from JV squad. Lake hasn't beaten Bellefontaine since 1989 in Boys BB, but next year u will? You were pounded by a superior team in every phase of the game! Yes I will be waiting for the clean sweep LAKE RAT!
Indian Lake will have the same team back next year! If you noticed the scoring last night, your two seniors had half your points. What will you have to make up for that next year? I like your confidence but don't let you ignorants take over.
Let's just wait and see. BTW, you had nothing to say about football?

lets make a friendly wager on ALL sports since your so confident in your 5 win lake team that returns the same team next year. Next year you might win 8 games while we win 15. 24 years without beating us in BB. Football should be a good game either way. Both football programs are on the rise.....but basketball another story!

We have 6 wins, and if you are referring to Max Oyer as our best player, what did he do last night? Yes he is good and would've helped us but we wouldn't have had a bunch more wins with him.
They, and we, all got tired of loosing and that is why we have a new coach. These boys have not been coached since they've been in high school. It will take a while for the new system but it will happen.

Part of thereason he left was coaching. The other was the AD. For Lake fans I would hope he is leaving soon.

The A.D. is retiring after this year. Another step in the right direction.

I see Rick during and after school and he is a good person. I just think sometimes he makes decisions based off what the coaches want and not what's best for the school. I think because of that, there are some coaches that take his kindness for granted.

FOOTBALL !!!! The head coach is also the assistant principle. Good guy but I have friends who have been in trouble with a group if kids but since they play football, they get disciplined differently. With that, and having how many loosing seasons, why does the A.D. Not make a change?

Laker Fan,

When is this magical improvement with the IL boys basketball team going to happen? If I read the league website correctly, they lost to Shawnee by 27 early in the year. Then, in the last game of the year, they lost to that same Shawnee team by 35. Seems like progress to me!

Jimmy the Greek,
While I am not certain of the exact years that Indain Lake has beaten Bellefontaine, I do know for a fact that they did win in the 2000/01 season as well as the 2009 season. So, regardless if that is just two wins,(that I know of) it is still far more than your claim of no wins since 1989.

And if your excited about Bellefontaine athletics, let's remember I.L. has only won 12 games in the last three years, so blowing them out is obviously something to brag about.

I must say, Indian having two wins as early in a season as they have in a while. I was able to watch a game they won and a game they lost. They do have more talent but I notice the coach reflux only depends and gives the green light to only two players. He had 5 boys that can contribute but only two get the stats. They will win done more games this year but only against the weaker teams. When they play the better teams they wi not be able to win with only two players. Good for those two but not so good for the rest of the team.
