<quoted text>Well, I don't post under a fake name, but I do know the family & they are great folks. It's hard to say why some people do as they do. We all have flaws & to judge another on his flaws is counterproductive. I had a brother who was an alcoholic. My parents "gave all that mortality can give" toward his recovery, but to no avail. He was killed in a booze related auto accident on labor day 1955. Thru out these 50+ years, our family has continued to search our souls as to why this WWII Veteran, who came from a family where booze was never, never used, ended his life so tragically. Was his dad a bad dad? Was his mom a bad mom? Did my brother & I slight him. Was it a result of his WWII service where he was a waist gunner on a B-24 bomber? Was it the "wild crowd" he "hung out" with? No one knows. If any of us had the answer to why some get "hooked," we'd be millionaires. One thing I do know is that this thread should never, never have been started. Please do not fault the family. They cannot help it. No one knows WHY?
Don, I have to say, I think this is a very good post. Well written, heartfelt and spot on.

I hope the families of the victims of these personal attack threads that keep popping up have the ability to get them removed.

Do I detect a healthy dose of sarcasm there? I hope not, because my comment was made in all sincerity.

Jayme L. Jacobs, 31, was pronounced dead at her residence, and the case was turned over to the Logan County Coronerís Office.
Sad thing in todays world is that doing the junk is an easy way to commit suicide. This old world is hard as hell on a person.
Is this really what happened to Jayme??? Heroin???
