Left West Liberty for Cleveland at 1400 hrs and just arrived at 2000 hrs.... how much snow did Bellefontaine and West Liberty get? The web cameras at my office are inconclusive. I see we are under a level 2 snow emergency in Logan County, but can't find a snowfall total on the web. We have a couple of inches up here and expecting the same tonight. Hopefully the roads will be cleared before we come home tomorrow evening. We saw seveal cars way down in the gully on the north side of 68N near Laidlaw on the way up here. The worst roads we traveled on were between West Liberty and Bellefontaine and they were only wet most of the way north of Kenton.

I am up here with the West Liberty Science Olympiad teams.

I would say between 6-8 inches. The wind has picked up. It is a very wet snow. The kind that make really good snowpeople.
Family in VA have 13 inches and it is still coming down.

A good 4-5 inches of snow-- the wind is horrible and the snow is drifting. I came home appx. 3:00 P.M. and a county road and a township road I travel did not seem it was plowed and Bellefontaine Buses were out! Again drifting snow.

I am glad I am home tonight.

Does anyone know of anybody that will dig us out?(heavy duty snow blowing machine)Our lane is so blown shut...I'm hoping I don't have another medical emergency. It'll take a helicopter to reach me.:(

This will be my last winter living in this house, you can bank on that.

Took me twice as long to get to Whitehall today and it turned to just rain while I was there. I supervised about 24 Toyotas , The ride back was progressivily worse. Alot of snow here and strong winds from the north. Think I will charge Toyota tripple.
I forgot to buy a new battery for my fireplace remote control so I have to flip the manual switch? Whew !

It started snowing down here about 2 hours ago and there's only about an inch so far. I'm sure when we wake tomorrow morning, the hubby and kids will be happy to see the winter wonderland. I know that I won't be happy to see it though...

It was halfway to my koleni when I took the dogs out for a walk around the compound at 9 pm. The 45 pounder had to jump like a deer, but he was fast. He's definitely an outdoor dog. He is still out playing in it at 11 pm. Did anybody's power go out? Ours failed for 4 hours beginning at 6:15 pm. Phone held up OK for a change.

Sounds like you need to buy a heavy-duty gasoline-powered snow thrower, LoCo Mom. Go with the most powerful two-stage model you can find, and forget about electric. No need to move from that lovely house of yours. But if you have to get in and out, you do need a snow thrower, even if it's only for a few days of the year.

Do you know what a frosty is, Jenny? It's a quicky in a snow bank.

How do you supervise 24 Toyotas, AC??? Do you work at a day care center? I am glad you are gainfully employed now. The only remote I have ever used to start a fire in a fireplace is a foot-long wooden match. My how times have changed!

Ah, the benefits of insomnia...I'm pretty sure the last level 3 was the winter we got slammed with about 3 foot of snow and 3 inches of ice. I don't remember what year exactly...I'm going with around 2002 or 2003?
