Banners down, but event still on

The banner signs may be down on Gulf Boulevard, but city officials want everyone to know the party will go on as scheduled.

The cash strapped Florida Dept of Transportation spent road money to force the removal of a banner installed by the city and in a location banners have been installed from time immemorial announcing an event sponcered by every civic organization in Indian Tocks Beach. I live next door to the offending banner.
