To the Clearwater Police Department:(Rhonda L Wolfe) burned herself alive on January 16th in her garage. Where is the final toxicology report on your page? Her husband, Donald, called the fire department and said it "appeared" his wife was on fire in his one car garage, yet Donald did nothing to try to save her life. I read this and heard this over and over again in every newscast and article I have researched. I don't believe a loving husband would wait on the fire department to arrive while his wife was incinerating herself. But that is exactly what the reports say. They assert that Donald did nothing. There are no reports, from neighbors, of Rhonda's agonizing screams at 10:47 that January evening (as a person in flames would certainly do). The gas cans did not ignite when she must have spilled gas on the floor as she doused herself. Even the suicide note, found near her on the garage floor, was in tact. Rhonda sustained 3rd degree burns over 100%of her body. Death by fire, according to research, presents the most challenging situation for forensic specialists to investigate probable cause. Again, why is their no final, conclusive autopsy/ toxicology on this site or in any news media reports about this case? Shockingly, I did see, on one news station, only a single DAY after Rhonda's death, a reporter waving involuntary commitment papers that pertained to the victim from 8 years previous... because Rhonda confessed to having had unsuccessfully attempted suicide. I am shocked that the Clearwater Police Department released classified information DURING a possible homicide investigation..when no autopsy report was conclusive. Rhonda had no/has no family living in Clearwater, or from what I understand, the state of Florida. She was alone in her marriage and far from her NY roots. Rhonda's sparse FB page has no profile picture, no cover photo, no friend information, no likes..but it does state several things. One fact her page states was that her relationship with her husband was "complicated." I have also found an arrest record for Rhonda regarding a domestic dispute from 2011. Her face shows slight markings of an altercation, yet I could find no arrest record for her husband. Rhonda Glass Wolfe was my best friend from childhood. I last saw her before I married, one Christmas, when she was 21 years old. She still lived in NY at that time. She was very much her sweet, same self. I am seeking answers; like why I can't find a single obituary for Rhonda in any of your area newspapers? I find that odd. I learned of her death via her family's obituary submission in the "Union Gazette" newspaper located in Port Jervis, NY. What I did learn was that she was not buried...but cremated??? Has the Clearwater Police Department taken an eight year old suicide confession that led to a INVOLUNTARY commitment and a three year old domestic arrest and failed to investigate just what went on behind closed doors in this seemingly troubled marriage? Is it more expedient to classify Rhonda as mentally unstable or insane (as one would have to be to do what she did)? Yet the neighbors, from reports I have read, describe the Wolfe's as a nice and quiet couple whom were seen walking their dog(s) and doing yard work. Have you even wondered, since Rhonda was arrested on domestic violence charges, why she did not attempt to murder her husband first and then kill herself? I urge you to consider why Donald Wolfe made the statement that his wife, who was engulfed in gasoline propelled flames , APPEARED to be on fire when he called the fire department??? And, do you, like me, question why Donald did nothing to extinguish his wife and possibly save her life? And, finally, don't you find it statistically and logically difficult to substantiate that a female would take her life in one of the most graphic and horrific ways possible? Greta Crank, BSW
