What kind of garbage is this. I know of many who have never voted but are registered. How hard would it be to get (steal) a utility bill and get an ID Card. This so called law is a joke. Wonder how much a bogus vote goes for these days?

Voting is a joke! Why bother, no matter the outcome, it always costs you and I more money! I have never voted in 60 years and don't plan on making any changes in that plan.

I would suggest canceling your registration (if you're registered) as it's not hard for some to get a copy with your name, addy etc. and vote in your place. They may have been for the last 50 years.

Not to worry, last time I voted was in 1968 and that was in High School when we were being taught how to vote. It didn't count and I have never registered because I was told they check the registrations against wage tax rolls and that is how some get caught for not paying the "unfair tax" (yes, I like to take what I can get away with from the government)
I can honestly say... I now know that is not entirely true. You can be caught in other ways (don't ask me how I know)Ha Ha Ha. Charleroi probably paved a few streets because of me...Water over the dam! Wont happen again.

I have viewed several things on this site and dog always has some input regardless of location or issue. I imagine that the dog is one bored individual who cares to create problems for others. And BTW those who do not vote are automatically purged from the list and must re-register. Dog you are a lonely fool.

What a stifled imagination you must have. If I was bored in the least I'm sure I would spend far more time on this and other threads. Of course, as many do, I wouldn't bother to register on the site but just roam around commenting on topics I have no knowledge about, changing my identity as I wished. As so many others are want to do. And I assure you Sir/Madame, I am neither a fool nor lonely.
It does seem to me that you may qualify for all o0f the above. Nice posting to you but I have a business to run. Oh yes, thank heaven for speaker phones. LOL

I always vote at least 3 times.
With the new IDs I can many more times.
I just got a raise in my foodstamps.
I'm voting for Obooba again, 3 or 4 times.

You missed the chance to really contribute to this thread. I asked in my opening post how much a vote goes for now?

And the problem you're joking about is a real one.

Sir, I would say that you are the fool if you believe what you post. Just happened to run across this story in the local paper. Alleg. Cty at 90% registration? May take up to 9 yrs. to remove a dead person from the roles? Just what part of the system don't you understand?

The Pa. high court sent this back to the lower courts. I thought it went to them after the lower courts let it slide?

After much controversy and deliberation, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a new voter I.D. law will be sent back to a lower court for further deliberation. The law, which is championed by Republicans, would require each voter in the state to show a valid photo I.D.—a mandate that opponents say will make it harder for the elderly, disabled, poor, and young to vote. In their decision Tuesday, the six justices expressed concern that many voters would not be able to secure required identification in time for November’s election.“There is ample evidence of disarray in the record, and I would not allow chaos to begat chaos,” Justice Debra McCloskey Todd wrote. The 4–2 decision sends the case back to a Commonwealth Court for review, where a decision will be made by Oct. 2.
