Youre right; you better believe there's someone waiting in the wings. i have a bet with my best buddy who it will be; how about you?
Do you remember Dongilli and the record his football teams had? One of the finest in western PA. What did Folmar (he initiated it believe me)and the politics of the board do? Gave the program to Cramer who took over a winning program and took it to 0-10. If you follow BVA football, stop and think when was the last time we beat TJ? When Dongilli was here believe we beat them 7 out of 8 seasons.
Should be a long an intereting meeting Monday night. BE THERE.

This Superintedent and his board members are destroying our schools morale, our community, our children's greatest role models( principals and coaches) and making turmoil in a community based school district. I have never talked to so many unhappy parents, teachers, students, and taxpayers in all the 35 years I have been in this district. We must stand together Monday night and let these 9 board members and Superintendent know that they can not continue to turn our district upside down. This is our children's and grand children's future, as well as the future of many respected educators, coaches, and administrators.

It was mentioned previously that it was known that Cramer had been wanting the BVA football head coaching job even when Dongilli was consistently producing winning and competitive football teams. Once Cramer took over, the football program was never the same. Also, there were reports that Cramer had the talent during the first several years, but he could not bring it to the level which Dongilli would had achieved if he had remained the coach at BVA.

Agreed and quite compelling. Comments like these will not be found in the censored Valley Independent. That is why it is imperative to attend BVA school board meetings to get the Big Picture.

Here in Washington Township - the political capital of the world - and what a race it will be.
Jamie is well known throughout the valley and she has proven herself to be honest, dependable, and most helpful to the Sr. Citizens of our community.
Jamie goes above and beyond of her time and again has proven to be an asset in all ways. Now she is running against the town drunk from the Naomi Club and this candidate - because he works a full-time schedule, is promising to make himself available with modern technology. Can you even imagine the stupidity of all this? This was written to inform you that we too in WT have a group of know-it-alls just like the BVA School Board; however, if Jolley goes, so goes the integrity of this Board. It is my prayer as I go to church this morning, that the members of the BVA Board and its Superintendent will realize their error in opening up the job of wrestling coach and adhere to the values and direction Mr. Jolley has instilled in his past, present, and hopefully future wrestlers. Don't let this bring you down Mr. Jolley but remain the wonderful person you are and God will prevail.

Would you believe he made the remark that he plans to be here a good 12 years? Yep, at last month's board meeting. This community cannot withstand his recommendations and dominance for that period of time.

The board had better realize that the voters will oust each one of them at their term's end if this continues. Bialon picked a match when Wilkinson was hired. He gave him him free reign of the meetings and so it is. This reign of terror has to end.

This superintendent has belittled employees from the highest paid down to the lowest paid employees and did not do it quietly. Our district always had good communication with the parents, employees, and students. This so called division that Wilkinson speaks of was created by him. Who is more a tyrant, him or Bialon?

You people on this site are absurd and wrong 99% of the time. Use facts that are true instead of ones generated by your personal feelings or hatred.
As far as Folmar:
Who mooned his own basketball players.
Who attempted to deny them eating after a game because they lost by 1 point at Baldwin. This was always done and they did stop with him sitting on the bus.
Who told one of his employees that he didn't like their friends especially Bialon.
Who took flavored water from the nurse's office and gave the bottles to the members of the board on a meeting night. When the nurse reported it he accused the custodians of taking it. Aha but there was a witness that saw HIM and the nurse confronted him a second time now knowing the truth.
Who cited a female custodian for wearing shorts in the summer when they were doing work in excessive warm temps.
And the list could go on and on.

I wonder if there was an incident with Mr. Jolley and Folmar when he was principal at the HS and is now behind the wrestling position being opened. He's always right behind the superintendent. Hope the super doesn't make a quick stop!
There's no hatred just facts. Folmar needs to GO and NOT be promoted.

A drunk is bad enough but a board member doing drugs in the restroom of a WT establishment? And someone seeing him do it. Money or not, our board doesnt need a drunk who also is a druggie.

Evidently you do your fair share of drinking, too. One would think someone associated with the District would be a little more selective with all the bars they frequent. So, ARE you following them with nothing better to do? I would think after a late meeting you would want to get home. The thing in WT is drugs, BIG TIME.

Well it was time for my monthly coffee get together following a board meeting with my good neighbor. He brought over his copy of the Valley.
He claaims there were a number of people who commented beside that retired teacher. What happened to the other comments? My buddy said some big guy commented twice and a woman had an informative comment that sounded well researched. Only thing we read about are Wilkerson's comments. Those 3 who didnt accept Jolley's resignation were only politicing they knew their vote would mean nothing. A nother dirty politic move. This time its on Jolley, that's a shame for the kids and for him. Who'll be next? There it is again; if youre not a team player, they force you out. My neighbor felt badly for students when they presented their petitions. Why didn't Gratta,Naylor, and Bealon act on the kids principal not being transfered? He said those comments from Bealon and Naylor must have come afer the meeting. Whats with that reporter? What ab out other comments said during the meeting? They may b e beneficial to tthose of us who cant attend. Thats why I don't buy that garbage paper.

What a fine young man to not get involved in petty politics and just simply hand in his resignation. It took a MAN to do that and Jack, you are that man! I commend you in all aspects of your life and know your Dad is looking down from Heaven and saying "That's my boy!" I'm sure it took a lot for you to do that Jack but God had His hand in all of this and chose what was best for you and your family.God knows all about that nasty School Board and yet I once read where God is like Scotch Tape......you can't see Him, but you know He is there......and I'[m positive this is the peace you now have in your heart. God Bless You!

Just came from Walmart and ran into someone else who was at that meeting. Evidently my neighbor must have dozed off because those two Naylor and Bealon did speak. What's with that Bealon talking so fast and on and on? They said he talks in circles but thats typical for a politician I told him. I've known quite a few attorneys in my time and none of them were like that. Does he even have any clients? He also said there were a couple good speakers especially some woman who had a lot of facts. He said no director responded to her remarks and that superintendent was busy on an electrical device. He could have shown some courtesy by giving his full attention as she addressed them. They hired him and we're stuck with him but we can vote those other bums out.

The 4 BVA school board directors (one diretor could not make it) who were absent from last month's important meeting could be favoring a posturing gesture. Think about it. The last meeting resulted in a controversy regarding transfers with the high school and middle school. If there is a re-vote at the next meeting to change the tranfers in order to win the majority on their side, the incumbents would look like heros for the short term prior to the elections. Even though it may not seem proper, none of the absent school board directors used the phone to cast their vote(s) on the transfers last month. One incumbet used the phone in his absence to cast a vote not to increase the budget(2012) even though he voted for the costly teachers contract!
Could it be the position just made for Folmer was to get him away from parents and students? He never did communicate well with either group. In fact from what I'm told his own faculty never liked him at the high school or middle school. Maybe that's why they never voted again. As far as those 3 incumbants (Bialin, grata, and Naylor) they just did that for Jolley for votes. Remember the Jolleys are a big family and theres a relationship with the Krafts. Why wasnt that Kanka sitting by Bialin last night someone said they changed their seats. If Grata and Sota both win Grata will be Sotas mentor and even if grata loses and sota wins he'll still be sotas mentor. Gotta clean house.

Agree with you BUT doesn't the district have a huge expenditure debt? What happens when the President of this country decides the interest goes up? Won't we be hit and hit HARD? There will be a lot areas go bankrupt. BVA taxpayers had better follow the Boy Scouts motto, "BE PREPARED".

One of the current teachers was in attendance at Monday's meeting and she told how the superintendent asked Ringstad Gray to read a line on the tentative budget. She did and turned to read ALOUD "no tax increase". That was a joke for a non property owner to declare let alone sit on that particular board committee. People want to rip Grata and Sotta, there's a lot of ripping that could be one on her! All the big property owners Sepeski, Nuser, Naylor, Paterson,(Bialin's family in the country even though they have gas wells on it) will be included in the BIG PINCH thats coming down the road people.
