Quote from article

>>Separately Wednesday, Irwin's manager and close friend John Stainton said videotape showing him being fatally stabbed should never be publicly aired.<<

Of course, not publicly, only for those who will pay big to see it.

Exactly, ordiary blokes are not normally part of the media elite. The crocteaser was more, the establishment's in-house, out and out drama queen than bloke. Hes got the Aussie pesos and lethal scars to prove it.

Ordinary bloke. Simple man with great skills and a concern for animals. He'll be missed.

I am grieving so badly over the death of Steve Irwin as though he were one of my closest friend's; I loved his enthusiasm for life - it always lifted me out of the pits of depression. I am in terrible empathy of pain for the family, and also to those friends of Steve who were on Croc One when Steve left this world; I cannot even imagine what kind of pain everyone is going through to loose such a man with a love that never quit for all he knew. He was right, he did have a gift, that we all knew the whole time.
All I can do is pray for this wonderful family(I know my God is ABLE TO SUPPLY A PEACE THAT PASSES ALL HUMAN UNDERSTANDING) and pray for them to regain hope for the best of memories to fill their days and bring back old thoughts and freeze frames of fun to live in their lives until it is their own turn to leave this world.
I feel so very much a part of this pain and grief, as if I am really there, as if I knew Steve personally - that is part of the gifts that he had. I have been told that my gift is Empathy to another's pain, and to give encouragement and support. To the Irwin Family, know that my arms are around you all along with God's EVERLASTING ARMS, I feel with you, and pray for you, I love you all, Sincerely,

Would stop it already, he was a showman abusing animals to further his TV career paying the ultimate price he was very good at what he did.
My heartfelt condolences to the grieving family

Steve was HARDLY an abuser of animals! His enthusiasum made others care. He cried on camera when one of his favorite crocks died of old age, and I cried WITH him when Sui died. The only one that even comes remotely CLOSE to his enthusiam is Jeff Corwin, jumping up and down like a big kid. Steve will be sorely missed. My prayers to his family.

I grew up on the Sunshine Coast and found Steve bloody entertaining. He was a real show man.
I loved the reptile park,( australia zoo ).
Steve died doing what he loved. I hope this thought helps the family. I really feel for Bindi and Bob. They have lost their father and Terri her husband.
I was often bringing home bearded dragons and blue tounges much to my mothers horror when I was younger. Our backyard was a reptile haven.

To Irwin Family, I want to give you my deepest condolences to you. I am still deeply shocked of what had happened to him. My love goes out to you, Terri, Bindi and Bob.

I agree that there should be no state funeral for him. And, the zoo should be named after him.

He was the greatest hunter, actor, teacher and friend to us all. He will always be remembered.

In our hearts, he will always be with us.....

Steve Irwin saved most animals from the abuse they would have endured through traps and other barbaric items. He'll be truely missed by me and my 4 yr old daughter

Anybody that says the crocodile hunter abused animals has an IQ of about 10.How stupid can people be?He never killed an animal,he rescuded them and took care of animals, for GOD sakes he owns a zoo.He was teaching people about wildlife, things that we wouldn't know.So for all the oxymorons,HE WAS NOT A ANIMAL ABUSER!!!!!!!!!!Get a life
