I find it incredibly amazing that the City of Udall has lost EIGHT OFFICERS in the past year. I didn't know a town could suck that much. Maybe it's the craptastic mayor? Could it be???
Good thing I work in Media, I sure can bring this to everyone's attention.

Its hard to believe that Udall even has 8 officers.

Why is there so many uncertified cops in Udall, KS? I applied for the Chief job and the person holding the job and serving on the force has not passed his Kansas license to be a cert cop. But of course, by word of mouth and on coucil meetings his mother in law is on staff there. And I heard she got him is city job too! I also heard of BIG problems within the police force that is why that they all quit but now their coming back, UM? Shady! See ya around town J.

First of all the mayor who knows nothing about law enforcement decided that the police department budget needed to be cut in half and transfer the funds into the parks and recreation budget.
He had told all the officers that they could not be at the becon call of the citizens and the the department could no longer provide 24 hour 7 day a week protection. Hummm, wonder why the citizens pay taxes and I wonder what a police department is supposed to do for the public.
As far as the idiot who took over the chief's job, yes he isnt certified, trained, or experienced enough to be potty trained but his mommy-in-law got him his job. She doesnt work for the city, she is on the council? Conflict of interest? As a reserve officer this joke of a person never worked for the department, he just wanted to carry a badge and a gun which is what you can say about the old fat mexican cop that never works but is still a reserve.
The mayor is responsible for ruining the police department in that little crap hole of a town and the citizens never once stood up for them. I am glad that I do not live in that playground for criminals from Wichita any longer. I could not stand to watch the citizens get screwed over time after time by the mayor and just lay there and take it. What a bunch of tools!

It absolutely was the mayor who single handly dismanteled the police department and took the tax payer supported agency from a 24 hour 7 day per week department to a whenever you can find a cop you can report a crime or wait hours for a county deputy to show up department. That guy is a total tool and joke! I wish someone would interview the past officers including the Chiefs to get to the bottom of this.

probably btk guy from hilltop rd had something to do with it. He's the guy that goes around measuring everyones grass and accuses the cops of not doing their jobs.
