I hope that she is put in prison and has to live with what she has done every day of the rest of her miserable life. We have to live the rest of our lives without Eddie, so she should have to live the rest of her life with what she has done. Such as waste. Eddie was a good man. This woman is a waste of space. I will be with all of you this afternoon at the funeral. Godspeed Killer. You are in our hearts... as you are for anyone who ever knew you.

My sympathies go out to the family and friends of this beloved gentleman. He was needed in heaven to help spread love and peace there. Find comfort in the fact that he is at peace and watching over you. As far as the vermin that felt the need to drink and drive...she can rot in jail. Hopefully the family will show up at her trial and his daughter can explain exactly what happened that fateful night.

Impersonating the Mayor now eh? That's awesome.. Well there are no laws that say women killers get less of a penalty than men. She is just as capable of getting the same punishment as a man would be. It's jsut sad that often drunken driving accidents don't get the penalties they should because they say it is unintentional. She didn't set out to kill the man. I feel though that it should have the same penalty as wether she meant to or not it had the same end result. Even more unfortunate, is she probably was at a bar and will sue them for over serving her and ruining her life by causing her to kill someone and she will probably be wealthy from her killing an innocent man. That is where TN laws are messed up. It has nothing to do with her being a female.

McCreery was a friend , a father, a husband and a very beloved Bother to many.
This Bitch should rot in jail for what she has done! She does not desereve bail and does not deserve to see the light of day again. His daughter had to watch this horrific incedent that could have been prevented if this bitch was a little more of an adult and did not drink and drive. His famly deserves justice for what has happened to him and for her to be let out on bail is very hard to fatham, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE JUDICAL SYSTEM!???????

A car can do just as much damage whether a man or a woman is behind the wheel. It shouldn't mean she get special treatment. She got drunk and killed somebody. She's not going to get what she deserves anyway. Just my opinion.

He was my older cousin. He treated as if I was one of his children. He meant the the world to me and this evil woman took him away from us all. He influenced so many lives, and would do anything for anyone that needed help. None of this seems real and I keep wishing that he would walk through the door, or that I would wake up from this nightmare. But thats not possible and it just continues. Then she is free on the street for only $6,000. How is that possible? I just hope we get some justice and some closure. Thank you all for your comments and support.

While I agree that justice should be given, I do not think that you have the right to judge where her soul should rot...I think that God will get to do that, hopefully she will repent before her death and God will forgive her of her sins and she will not have to rot in Hell. Justice should be served, but lets let God take care of her soul.
OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE NOT LOST A LOVED ONE IN THIS MANNER OTHERWISE YOU WOULD PROBLY SAY DIFFRENT. SO LET GOD HANDLE HER SOUL TO HELL AS FAAR AS I AM CONCERNED!!!!!

Oh puleese!! Keep your friggin' theological rhetoric BS out of this topic. God had nothing to do with this drunk killing this innocent man and taking off from the scene. The last I heard...your Christian god was so dam merciful, gracious and loving. So why in the hellll did he allow this man to die at the hands of a dam drunk? Furthermore, we CAN judge anyone we choose to judge because this is a public news forum where anyone is entitled to opine, JUDGE, speculate, debate and discuss news topics which this drunk's actions just happens to be. Now kindly shut the helll up!!

you show so many times that you know NOTHING about GOD. ITS SHOWS. He is a loving, kind and just GOD. Yes, bad things happens everyday, but even when we don't understand HIS plan, it is HIS plan nevertheless. Without God most people wouldn't have hope. I realize that being like you are that you will never understand this.

Like another poster stated you are so angry about your son dying that you wears your blinders so tight that you can't see 2 in. in front of yourselve. Other parents have lose kids also, but they don't use that to always be hateful or mean to others. I pray that you will fine a true peace in your life so you can actually learn how to live without the angry. You have to let it go first. Life is a good thing. Sure we ALL go through hard times..

No it's not just you. Don't forget the part where she was out on bond less than 10 hours after the "murder". It's beyond pathetic.

We see such a lack of decency in our society today. Do you think it will ever get any better?

It is hard to imagine, but I do. It will only be through God's kingdom however.

I am so sorry for this needless tragedy.

Amen To many people not living with God in their hearts. Being decent seems to be a thing of the past. Kids not listening to parents at all, parents not caring that kids aren't listening or behaving at all. Kids talking back to adults, hitting busdrivers, teacher, and even their parents. Adults running over another adult as if it is nothing. They took that person's life to mean nothing. Sad what our world is coming to
