Do not go here. I was here a couple of months ago and it was like being treated like an orphan in historical England the owners are just horrible!

I am the mother of someone who was at Seastone of Delray. I would warn any parent against sending someone they care about to this facility. It claims to be a treatment center but they only hold groups one time a day for 1 hour. You can get more individual attention with a private therapist for 1 hour and I assure you the therapist will not bill your insurance company for $865.00 a day. There are excellent facilities in Delray this just not happen to be one of them unless you just enjoy throwing your money away.

My son has been at Seastone of Delray for over a year and has been the best thing that has ever happened to him. They have been in the process of making the transition from a strictly sober living facility to a more comprehensive treatment center over the last year. I can tell you the people there really care. I am a true skeptic but I can say my son has been in a number of facility's in Delray and elsewhere in the last several years and he has really thrived with the group at Seastone. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I wouldn't send anyone there, it's not a treatment center. It's a halfway house that scams people to make treatment center money. There is no client control. People do whatever they want and you can simply go wherever you want, whenever you want. The owners have never been in recovery from what I know, and they do not know anything about it. The groups are a joke, like I would feel bad for someone's parents if they sent their son there thinking they were going to get help because the place is kind of a joke

Whoever made the post saying their son has been there for over a year is bullshitting by the way, I don't know anyone there who has been there for more then six months in the past year...they only give a shit about the money...and that is a fact....whoever expects their son to stay in a treatment center for over a year is retarded, you do not get any help that way, you are actually hurting your son. You need to be exposed to reality, the easier you make it on your loved one the less chance they have at recovery. There is no progression when your being coddled all the time. You need to have a transition and they don't believe in that there. They will talk you into staying for the rest of your life as long as you keep paying. $$$$$$$$....they claim to be a treatment center but the patients can leave without supervision, and they bill your insurance for AA meetings which is actually illegal

SeaStone is a great place with real recovery. I personally know the owner and their staff and they all care. It's not about the money. They have great techs with recovery and a clinical team that have help saved many lives.

I am in this facility now and love it. The staff is great and they treat us like humans not like cattle, unlike "The Watershed" that truely is all about money and for the record yes we have freedom to come and go but as soon as we get back they test you and watch to prevent urine substitution thus preventing anyone who wants to get high from freely using while in their facility. I dont know about the past but currently its wonderful and the one owner who is around alot is in recovery n has some nineteen years clean so whoever said the owners arent in recovery must not have done their homework.

Seastone is without a doubt the best male sober living facility that Delray Beach has to offer. I personally know those negative posts were written by angry ex-clients who were asked to leave for noncompliance and using drugs on property. Clients are required to attend IOP groups throughout the day and are also brought to local 12 step meetings in the area. They are given drug tests a few times a week in which they are supervised to assure a safe environment. If someone uses, they are put on a strict contract and given consequences. If this person breaks contract, then they are asked to leave. Clients are given enough freedom here to decide whether they want to live a healthy and sober life, or to continue to go down a road of destruction. All the staff there are in recovery and work a program in a 12 step fellowship. I trust Seastone more than any other place as I have personally worked at multiple other sober living facilities and none can compare to this. I felt it was my duty to write about this facility as the negative comments previously written are all fabricated.

the losers at this place are trespassing all over the neighborhood on private property..we have called the police for the second time. next time they go to jail. the boys are immature and have no supervision on the weekends. there have been a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood..guess who? don't waste your money on this useless "vacation" for your troubled boys. they have nothing to do and so get into more trouble..you like paying for that??? they are losers and will never become winners this way..STOP IT

ps I love the one from "someone who knows"..referring to angry ex clients who were using drugs on the property and then asked to leave. How would you like this next door to you? new druggies every week taking drugs and trespassing on everyone's property. all they have to fear is being asked to leave. we have to live next to this dangerous situation. we see local drug dealers now in this neighborhood on their little mopeds coming to visit the boys and bring them their drugs. this was a nice residential neighborhood but it has gone to hell. my opinion: these losers are not "disabled" and should not be classified along with truly disabled persons. they are using loopholes in the disability entitlements to invade residential neighborhoods, have transient druggies come and go, and pay no property taxes! they contribute nothing to our town and overtax our police. If you spend your money to send your boys here you are wasting it. by the way, their main treatment is to (try to) convert them from alcohol and drugs to tobacco and candy. They all smoke cigarettes constantly. Brilliant..now they will al die of lung cancer and we will pay for it. they are not allowed to smoke these death sticks inside so they are all over the neighborhood smoking cigs. The air reeks. Nice.

To the owners on this mess…KEEP YOUR CLIENTS OFF PRIVATE PROPERTY. By the way..you just lost your view of the intracoastal. They come onto our dock through that opening and it will now be sealed shut. sorry office girls..you lose your view.

I highly doubt the female professionals care very much about the view as they are busy saving lives. You are intolerant and a terrible excuse for a human being to treat these guys (who are trying to improve their lives) with such venom. I have to wonder what has made you so hateful and miserable that you need to harass young men for unknowingly fishing out of "your" pond. FISHING, not using drugs, not stealing, not causing harm to anyone! Seems pretty intolerant for such an upstanding pillar of the community. You should be ashamed of yourself.

thank you I guess you are the absent supervisor who oks their wanderings around the hood. how did you know they were fishing? I guess you know them. well it is not my pond but it is my dock and they are trespassing. where is your empathy and tolerance for the people who live in this neighborhood. and ps please pick up the trash your boys are tossing along the street..you know beer cans and cigarette packs etc. get a trash can. also it is not these poor boys who I am against or their poor parents or whoever is paying for this thing you do, but the whole drug rehab trade that has so negatively affected our town. why can't these boys get better closer to home? they need to develop the skills and strength to stay sober in a real life situation..not sitting around here looking for trouble. thanks for your kind words. glad to hear no one cares about the view.which I am not closing to be mean but because the police advised it. they said it is too open and I should close it. I have been an extremely friendly and tolerant neighbor but the transient boys with attitudes right outside my door on my dock AGAIN is threatening to me. anyone who does not comprehend that is an idiot.

I just reread all of my comments and do not agree with your assessment that they are full of venom for the young men..they simply state facts.
