This is just another step in the evolution of Harley Davidson into a motorized wheelchair company as the company follows the aging boomers into the grave.

It appears the Trikes are more stable than the choppers were. I've been told the choppers were easy to turn over. Is this true? Do they make a sidecar for the Trikes? I'd love to have one & have my minature poodle along for the ride.

I have the original HD Trike, a 1951 Servi-car. They are a blast to drive. Also have riding buddies who have lost a leg and now ride a trike to stay on the road. If you have never tried one, take you poodle for a ride, she might like it

I don't like trikes at all! Looks good for a concept bike but not for mass production! Someone should bring back the sidecars!!!

I think tikes are fun, but not for any serious riding. Just too dang dangerous. Side-cars are much better.

I just bought a 1951 completely restored Harley Servi Car, glad to hear you like it - I haven't seen in yet, will be delivered soon! I'm a Grandma now and I think it will feel safer than my HD Heritage. Irover wrote: I have the original HD Trike, a 1951 Servi-car. They are a blast to drive. Linda, Welcome to the exclusive club, Servi-car owners. You will love your new ride and be prepared for a great deal of attention when you go cruizing down the road. Just think of all the loot you can haul back in your box. I have a 51 also. As with most anything out of the "NORM" whatever your concept of that is, trikes fall into the saying "If I have to explain it to you. you're just not gonna understand." Go Trikes, they keep a lot of good pepole puttin' that otherwise would have a big hole in their life.

Well, I got my trike delivered! I have a lot of work to do before I can ride it. Wasn't as "completely restored" as I thought, but it still looks awesome! We are putting an electric start on because I can't kick start it and then some other cosmetic things. I can't wait to get on and ride!!

My hubby & I both ride & just talked about getting a trike - he's 34 and recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Doing ok on meds but we were thinking on a trike he could relax a little more than on a 2 wheeler and it would still be fun to ride. When he gets tired I'd cart him around & he could just sit back & enjoy the ride!

For the user who mad the baby boomer comment. Have you thought about the fact that Harley may be trying to acommadate the current round of disabled veterans being created by our presidents current war that we are waging in the middle east?

WOO WHO....And I bet you own one too...NOT...You must live in a closet in Canada if you think Harleys lost their appeal. Look around and see which bikes you see the most of on the road. You notice Paulies bikes are all based on Harley engine designs....which have lost their appeal...NOT...copying is the biggest form of flattery...Looks like even Paulie digs harleys. Do us all a favor and buy a OCC. Leaves more of the dependable fair market priced bikes for us.
