I have known Connie just about all her life. We knew she was in trouble, but had no proof. Connie and Ralph recently picked me up from the hospital, he got pretty irate when it took the nurses so long to discharge me. He was making me very nervous, especially meeting him for the first time. Connie was doing me this favor of giving me a ride, due to my husband was at home suffering with cancer. Connie Reeb would do anything for anyone, but since she began her relaationship with this man, she wasn't allowed to leave the house, or receive phone calls. This is not the Connie we knew, he had a hold on her in some way, and if she did shoot him, she had to have a damm good reason.

When it comes to people saying they are friends of someone lets get real. Old friend of Ralph you are an idiot. He was verbally abusive, physically abusive to women and these two children. Who knows what other woman he has been with that had children he was abusive to. You obviously did not know this person very well. If you knew him at all you would have known that he was the one who was psychotic and needed psychiatric treatment.

Ok..it's obvious that the last comment came from Connie's sister in Arkansas who never even met Ralph! You people are overlooking the main point of the situation! Yeah he may have been abusive and he may have had a bad temper..he may have been alot of things, but that does not give someone the rite to MURDER someone while they sleep let alone someone who needs mental help! Would you go kill a retarded person for any reason other than self defense??? It's kind of the same thing. I knew him, and he definately was mentally unstable, but not horrible person..and surely by no means did he deserve this!! Anyway dosn't anyone think this girl was the stupid one for just meeting this guy and moving herself and kids in wih him two weeks later..that's just asking for trouble! She had to have heard things about him or did she not ask around about the person she was about to be sharing a home with??? I mean really just go to Lena Torres .com and check out his rap sheet.... Just as easily as she moved herself in with him, she could have left him! The judge needs to make an example of her to let people know that this is not acceptable and you can't just go shooting people then claim you were too scared or abused to get away...self defense would have been a whole-nother story.

Just to set the facts straight I did know Ralph. I didn't live in Arkansas forever you idiot. I have known him since I was in grammer school with him. He was an was a complete and utter ass. He has abused others and has a rap sheet 10+ pages long. Who goes around getting rap sheets on everyone they date first of all and. YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW HIM VERY WELL BECAUSE HE WAS NOT A NICE PERSON TO ANYONE HE THOUGHT HE WAS BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVERYONE AND WAS UNTOUCHABLE AND INVINCIBLE TO ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT. I don’t care what the circumstances are and who knows who best is not relevant; the FACT of the matter is Murder is Murder! Ralph could have a rap sheet as long as my left arm but MURDER was never on it. Connie could have been as sweet and innocent as the flying nun but now she is a MURDERER. Connie has changed and devastated not only Ralphs family but her own, She has taken a life, a father, a son, a HUMAN BEING. She is going to face the consequences of her actions and her children, parents and family will be affected as well, all because instead of fleeing her alleged abuser, she decided to be judge jury and executioner. Connie Reeb did a fine job turning people’s lives upside down, and I can only pray that she will serve the maximum amount of time allowed by Louisiana State Law to pay for what she has done. You and anyone else can say what a jerk they think he was or how horrible you claim he may have been, guess what as horrible as you claim he was he never KILLED ANYONE. Connie Reeb is a joke, if anyone is mentally unbalanced it’s a woman who has the ability to shoot someone in his sleep with your kids in the yard…I hope she rots in hell where SHE belongs. Your completely correct! It hasn't gone to trial yet, because her attorneys are grasping at straws to try and figure out a way to save her stupid ass. Too bad they are running out of continuances and rediculous excuses as to why they can't make it to court. So yes technically for the past year she has been "walking free", getting on with her life and moving in on another guy who has no idea what he is getting himself into!! But her day is coming, she can't run forever, justice will be served! ;(
