Nobody has a reason to run from the law unless you have something to hide ! Simple as that !

so how would you feel if your child was shot in front of you? That officer had no reason to use deadly force against the man in the driveway. No mmatter what the circumstances surrounding the investigation or weather the VICTIM had anything to hide, this officer was wrong and should serve a lengthy prison sentance. An office of the law should obey without question the word of the law and be held to a higher standard.

I pray each day for not only Robbie Jr's health and well being, but Marian and Robbie Sr. It's so frustrating that in this day and age we live in that successful black families are discriminated against because of their race by prejudice white cops. What ever happened to cops asking for identification first and running a vehicle check with the million dollar/high advance technology equipment in their patrol car?

Folks just get so tired of "playing the race card" for any incident. How about the guy who said Houston Police took him behind a Valaro and beat him. The news media showed pictures of him with a breathing machine, Quannel X showed his ass by not knowing the specifics. Come to find out the guy was a drug head. GPS logs showed the so called beating could not have taken place. Instead of putting the blame on someone else why not stop the black on black killings, and other black crime.

There is something in this country called due process, okay? These police officers didn't handle the situation right in any aspect.

The victim was at his front door about to enter his house after getting something to eat .... how is that running from the police? The police didn't even asked for id, proof of insurance etc. from the gentleman.

Due process. The police didn't use it. Secondly, they didn't even know it was the police because it was dark and they were shining bright flash lights in their faces in their OWN driveway.

Why are you assuming that they had anything to hide? It was their car. I haven't yet heard of a drug bust or anything of that nature. Some people seem to think that just because some one wears a badge that they are superior to everyone else and are to be worshipped as gods. BS. The police are supposed to follow the law just as everyone else. We live in a democracy (supposedly) not a hierarchy or dictatorship.

Thank you, my kind sir. Another fellow Californian who is enlightened. Some of these Texans now need to be enlightened.:)
