Elliott Davis, investigative reporter for KTVI Fox 2 Now (www.fox2now.com ) news will air a report on the status of St. Louis County’s controversial trash districting program this Tuesday evening at 9:00 p.m. on his “YOU PAID FOR IT” segment.
In all fairness, Dooley negotiated a better deal which would have had the county residents baying about $9.00 a month which was rejected by the county council. Off the record he will tell you he does not like Meridian or the current contract. This is classic politics at play here. To include legal defense fees as part of the cost of the program is misleading. That portion of the cost should go to the disgruntled south county residents and if the county prevails, I hope to see the county recoup those legal fees from the disgruntled haulers and residents personally. I still think this is a wise decision in the long run and no I do not wish to hear tired claims of socialism and lack of free enterprise.

What deal are you talking about that Dooley could have had for $9 a month? I work for the County Council, and if there was any deal, spill the beans and I will make sure there is an investigation. These were sealed bids, opened at one time in front of most of the trash haulers.

This came straight from Dooley's mouth. Ask him about a deal he supposedly made and get back to me.
I don't make stuff up.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Virgo

You're struggling to get everything finished in time today, making you feel fractious and tired. At some point you may have to take a pragmatic decision about which tasks must be completed today and which will have to be postponed until another day. Do your best to keep things in proportion otherwise you'll waste time in trivial details and needless nit-picking.
