Bell City Bus Drivers

I have heard horror stories about the bus drivers that drive our children home.Several laws are being broken.I have witnessed one driver driving entirely too fast,with kids.They dont wait and make sure the kids are in their seats which makes the kids fall in the floor, they slam on the brakes at the kids request,kids hang their heads out of the windows,drivers blast the radio,I was even told that one driver went by their house to get something and left the keys in the bus and the bus running while children were still on(small Children).This to me sounds like an accident waiting to happen,Im not sure if they dont feel like they have to follow the rules or if they are short handed to the point of not caring and just getting the kids home as quickly as possible but either way it doesnt sound like the most important thing is being safe with our children.

Well if you have witnessed it then why didn't you report it if your so worried about the children? Sounds like to me your just wanting to stir up trouble.

I've seen some things myself. I reported them to the elem. principle She flat up told me I didn't see what I know I saw. that bus driver now needs to watch out cause I'm waiting with my video camera now. AND THIS TIME I won't contact the school. I will contact kfvs like that woman in Jackson did last year.

Oh yeah and what about the school employees who are seen over at the bus shed using the private gas tanks that they use to fill up the bus to fill up THEIR OWN PERSONAL VEHICLES. Do they really think no one sees them. I think maybe i'll start recording that too and put it on youtube. yup sounds like a plan to me. And yeah you all are going to come on and tell me that i'm stirring crap. But what you need to realize is that I am willing to go out and get the evidence to back up what I say and not just run my mouth. If you are a concerned citizen why don't you all step up too. maybe with extra eyes on these people, they will clean up their act.

Well maybe you just have it out for one of the bus drivers personally and you are trying to get that person fired!

Why does it always have to be "maybe you have it out for someone", when you are simply trying to do what is right?? I wish more people in this town cared about what was right, instead of running their mouths, trying to trash others. Doing the right thing takes guts, and I am proud of concerned mom for doing what she thinks is right.

If you are willing to do this with the video cam please do so...For one i am a bus driver, but don't live in BC, but do have family there...If that driver is doing that,record it and turn it over...That kind of behavior gives the good ones bad reps and that's one thing i do not like...As far as the gas issue record that too...PPL don't realize quit stealing and taking away from their kids cuz if the state finds that crap out there's more money they will take away from a small school..The more they take away if they don't take all away then where they gonna get money to keep school open...It's hard enough for these other small schools with the dam state taking their money away n putting into the goverments pockets we sure don't need thieves..So to the concerned mom go for it...If that's what's going on video tape it..It's a shame you have to do that just to prove your word...

Don't them buses run off diesel fuel? Who at the school has a vehicle that is a diesel?

I don't even personally know any of those bus drivers, just that they need to straighten up. kids are involved.

Maybe if you have time to video tape busses, you should just drive your child to school. That would seem like you were really concerned!

Actually we do drive our child to school. It seems like you don't know all that much do you? And am I not supposed to say anything because its not my child on those buses? You are the one who don't seem real concerned. Each and every one of those children on those buses belongs to someone. They have family and friends who love them. seems to me your upset because someone might get their tail feathers in a twist. which is worse, a bus driver in trouble or a missing or dead child. duh

You mean there is someone in Bell City that can afford a video camera and dont work so they can watch all these acts of corruption taking place.

Aren't you rude. We drop our child off on the way to work. But I will say this. I'm not taking your bait. You can't make me mad. You are trying to get people off the issue. It seems to me that maybe I have struck a little close to home. hmmmm. Anybody with any common sense knows that if you aren't doing anything wrong then it will be okay no matter what is taped. We have several GREAT bus drivers. Only one or two are a problem. How can you not have a problem with kids being put in danger. Unless of course you're a bus driver who is worried about being caught. I'm not arguing with you. Ya can't fix STUPID. Any decent person reading this knows I'm not just starting trouble. Our children are the most imporant things in this world. They DESERVE to be protected. If you have aproblem with that then I feel sorry for your kids.

Oh, I forgot most people over in the housing projects don't have jobs because they are too lazy drawing a check from the tax payers and food stamps, and not minding their business!If you think you can do any better then the bus drivers we have then you do it. Trouble Maker is what you are! I am sure you are from the housing projects you worthless piece of ****. Get a job.

Concerned mom if you know who other than administrators or Bus Supervisor that was using school gas enlighten us on who it is because you are right it is wrong

First off i do not use any of those words in front of any students...I do use proper english while i in their presence...Why don't you preach that to the students the bus cams can sure surprise you...those students from k-12 will sure hurt your ears...but oh no yall think your kids don't swear...Oh and the word DAM is in the bible honey....

If you have witnessed (not someone told me that....) a bus driver breaking the rules, talk to the bus supervisor or the school Superintendent.
Why call the elementary principal? Adressing issues pertaining to the drivers is not in her job description.

Go through the proper chain of command. Maybe you'll get farther and be taken more seriously.

Well said. I refuse to believe that this person was blown off by the elementary principal the way they claim, IF they had a LEGITIMATE complaint that is. What do they hope to achieve by calling KFVS news. Doesn't Bell City get enough bad publicity? Furthermore do they think any educated person who works for the school gives any credence to the crap that gets stirred up on this site. Follow the proper channels if you expect results. If you are really concerned why not encourage people to attend the next board meeting, or is it just easier to bitch and make threats.
