Artiga, you are a sad example of a pastor. You appear to be a thief, whether avoiding paying taxes on your house or stealing from the citizens of Bell. You better start fixing a lot of Porshes to pay back the money and for an attorney.

What is hilarious is the support he gets from his "Christian" brothers and sisters.

In typical hypocritical fashion they will excuse his behavior, attitude, and theft because he is a "Christian" but demand the heads of those who do the same but are not "Christian" as they see it.

The fact of the matter is that he not living a Christ like life at all. He has stolen from the most needy, taken from those who trust him, and demonstrated a concern for only himself.

For those 175 idiots and the other 'churches' who blindly support him and do not hold him accountable for his actions demonstrate the great fallacy of the so called "Evangelical Christian" movement. It is ok to do as you like as long as you say the magic words asking Christ to absolve and relieve you of any sense of responsibility to anyone in this world.

How can we believe anything dirty Dennis Dreager says. It is probably true about Artiga but I believe that if if you check records like I did you will find out that Dreager did the same thing Artiga did within he last 10 years. The records I got showed Dreager claimed HOE on both his houses the one in Cali mesa and the other in Colton. He has probably already alterted records like Postmus and the crew did so it may not show. The way Dennis Dreager ran tax lien poperty sales and the way he did not properly contact people and then sold there properties was illegal and Dreager is was and always be a big fat crook. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.. Artiga ran a food bank while he collected $96,000 for a part time clowncil job that surely wasn't to smart. Basta has still not turned in the recall paperwork and since Artiga was gonna blast the cops contract and this whole Basta thing started over he dirty cops of Bell geting scared of losing there coosh contract and salaries I wonder what will be next in Bell

It looks like all one has to do to be a pastor nowdays, is to just hang out a shingle. One used to have to attend and complete Divinity School.

"We did not own Porsches," Artiga said. "My son and I have a business buying old Porsches, restoring them, and selling them as a way to support ourselves."

Huh? What? When you buy a Porshe don't you own it? I would have gotten in his grill too if he was racing those cars up and down my street.

Guarantee those inmates will stab him once for each dime they stole from the people of Bell. He'll be dead within a week of going to prison, protective custody won't save him either.

I've interacted with Luis on several occasions...always seemed like a bit of a jerk, but I never expected this from him. For the real record, Luis Artiga did not "restore" old Porsche's, at least I never saw one for sale, he did however love to buy perfectly good classic Porsche's and strip them for parts, which is why I never saw eye to eye with him.

On another note, I'm surprised you all are so quick to jump on him...I may be naive, but I believe that without the idea of our judicial system running on the fundamental belief that people are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY we do not deserve the title of a Democracy. I may be wrong about Luis, he might be an evil man intent only on his own personal gain, but I've never met him face to face...and those I know who have would never have pegged him for someone to pull something like this. I guess he could have fooled us all, but I'd like to hope that maybe there is a little bit of good left in the world, and maybe this is just a case of bad things happening to good people.

Remember that "innocent until proven guilty" applies to our rights in court.

Nothing is ever proven beyond a reasonable doubt in the press. And yet we all have to vote. So we have public debate based on the facts available. The public has every right to be outraged when their public officials are caught with their hand in the cookie jar. The officials always make excuses. One time in ten they turn out to be true.

Artiga is innocent until proven guilty in court. But out here we all know $100k for meeting once a month isn't an accident.

Luis Artiga is a p.o.s. He dated my younger brother while he was still in high school and he used to slap him around. He is not only a thief but he has a violent temper and lust for young boys.
