There was the Vecino Theatre and a skating rink that added to the area. The Snow White drive-in and the Popcorn Tavern were pretty nice also. Later we had a Sambo's that could be considered a racial landmark with wooden nickel coffee.

The Vecino Theater burned down around 1976.
