Exactly. They have zero data except for fake census. Where 80% illegal Mexicans wouldn't fill out the data. Asians are dropping anchors in Birthing homes in Calif. and flying back to china or wherever to get green cards for the anchors family member's. California could not possibly get accurate number's on illegals in Calif. To large a population to maintain any real fact's on. A guess is 4 million in LA alone. You are right there is not going to be a path towards (eventual)Citizenship of any kind. The main concern is not being addressed by Obama/Adm. and that is the security of our Nation,closing down the porous border. The way the border is now,for all we know their could be another 911 being plotted right at this minute(God Forbid). Border patrol have arrested people from as far as the Middle East coming across our border,so to think only Mexicans are coming to work is absurd.

Close/Secure the borders and we can talk, until than NO NOthing !!!
