Why do some people insist on undoing all the efforts of the general population to improve and uplift Belington?! Vandalism, stealing mailboxes, paintball damage at the city park,
wheelies on private property... It's something new every day! Let's all take pride in our community and report anyone doing such things.

What they need is to hear the report of a 12-gauge Mossberg pump. Well-aimed, hopefully.

I agree that citzens must care enough to report problems. I haven't heard too much mentioned about law enforcement or lack of it in Belington lately. Is there a police department now? I think the shotgun thing is a little too extreme.

One full time policeman. Mayor patrolling several
hours a day. Interviews going on for 2 full
time positions is my understanding.

Someone told me that they had advertised for a chief and an officer. The mayor patrolling? That's a new one. So I am assuming that the town is without a police chief?

The mayor is considered the acting police chief and yes they have been advertising for a chief and an officer. Tomorrow is the closing date.
