Strangle-hold Ordinance Forced On Bozeman

Bozeman City Commission to vote on destructive, counter-constitutional nondiscrimination ordinance, one which fosters the insanity of forcing sexual identity and gender-confusion politics onto the local marketplace, academia and government.

Republicans dub these "bathroom bills", and for good reason. They allow men who say they're women full access to all sanctifiably-feminine public facilities. Think: the shower room your wife/daughter/neice/grandaught er uses at the gym...or the one's at their schools perhaps. Already at Florence H.S. in Colorado, a gender-confused boy has the girls at his school on edge because of his presence in there. Parents there are outraged, but you know what? It's the law, so they have to take it and like it.

These activists demand special laws to address a crisis that isn't there. There IS NO systematic, institutionalized climate of bias and exclusion against gays. I've studied the issue for years, and not once have I encountered a story of one being denied housing or employment simply for their sexual identity - not once.

This is a solution in search of a problem.

People of faith, values (or even common sense) do not want to be forced to transgress their beliefs even though they must leave the sanctuary of the church and exist in the world. Where is the need to rob the most basic rights of association and conscience, forbid people from the public market by ordinance unless they submit to participation in repellent behavior, and clear the way for lawsuits to obliterate remaining dissent? Let people do business, and let them succeed or fail on their merits. Let others arise without religious compunctions and provide the services unconscionable to the religious. Where is the need to morally enslave those who disagree with you?

LGBT nondiscrimination ordinances grant a badge of civic invincibility to the gays, and provide them the gilded key for flooding local schools with gay propaganda. But it also fosters an oppressive climate of political correctness, where everyone has to walk on egg shells to defer to the gays - I've seen this time, and time again.

This is a hyper-litigious bunch (gay activists) and such an ordinance will open the floodgates for frivilous lawsuits. Let your commissioners know how you feel about this.

I feel there should never be discrimination and most of why you said sounds like personal experience except you wouldn't now. As far an oppressive environment of political correctness you sound like an ignorant hypocrite. It's alright to oppress others just not the words coming out of your mouth. No different than not being able to discriminate against women or race! Grow up as far as morally enslaving if you want respect you have to give it! Talk about morals when you have none. Gay propaganda? People should be aware of gender. The non discrimination law does nothing to harm you except allowing others to love the life they wish. Maybe you should study psychology next time and get a grasp of something other than which gays weren't turned down while working. Discrimination does exist and you prove it. Gender confusion politics? You are an idiot

There simply IS NO climate of systemic, institutionalized bias against gays. It's but a glorified, paranoid delusion, one that they're now demanding intrusive public policy to affirm.
Media gay activists sew seeds of fear-mongering to incite gays to revolt against some imagined inequity, some imagined threat to their livelihoods. Please. This is all a feel-good ordinance based around unfounded paranoia.

I am sad that I am unable to comment about Bozeman MT. I am surprised that the court procedure doesn't coincide with my understanding of the Montana Code Annotated (M.C.A.) rules and regulations, at least not my interpretation of it. I don't recall ever waiving my Preliminary hearing for the charges I received Sept. 10, 2012. I never waive my right to a speedy trial 6 months for a misdemeanor and it is approx 9 months for a speedy trial. The police never assisted my neither when I tried to file reports. I assume it means that I am going to loose my family, and my money too. Lorraine VanAusdol is also the woman Lorraine Rooney I believe, so either I was manipulated to believe this though false reports online on the websites or I have a legitamit complaint. I suppose I don't support what's going on but haven't voiced my understanding or opinion. I saw many wanted posters and thought I saw people who fit those descriptions too. Maybe they are right and I really should go to an insane asylum, but I just wanted to say something because I get worried and even a little afraid. A man of courage makes a choice that is scary and I do feel fearful sometimes. I hope I was of assistance either ways

Unfounded paranoia? If you had your way being gay would be illegal. You refer to it as deviant behavior, so stop being so ridiculous. If I was gay and lived your state being fearful of my fellow man would be important for survival not paranoia.
