This wasn't something I made up it was on the internet. But I do know that the tracks coming from Nolan, wv across to Hatfield, ky where there way before the 70's. They stopped at bent branch and then around the 70's leslie coal company was put in and N&W add track up to sidney, ky. You might want to check you facts.

Heard a story one time from an old man, he said he was walking home from work one night late along the railroad tracks to Nolan. He came upon a woman walking in front of him, when he asked her what her name was she sank into the ground!

I have heard storys from my grand parents back when I was younger about a women that walked those tracks. It was told that she walked from Nolan across the rail road bridge to the martin co. side of ky and would go striaght into the hill. There is also a gravy yard on the hill there. Its very old some just have stones for makers no names.

I can verify that in the early to mid 80's I saw this ghostly woman around the railroad tracks at the Martin/Pike county line. We were traveling from Martin County into Pike and saw the white woman, and I mean solid white from head to toe, walking and turned once we was past and she was gone. This is the only time I have ever seen it and heard of it happening...

I think they where talking about the rail road bridge, not the old toll bridge.

What does having faith in God have to do with seeing ghosts? Ghosts do exist and just because you have not seen them, does not mean that they don't exist. I have witnessed many things that cannot be explained and those that think to make fun of these things could end up being the next to witness them.

There were ghosts in the Bible as well. There are more things that can't be explained away than what many people think.
