Voters reject Lowell schools millage increase, renew millage for Hopkins schools
By less than 100 votes, residents in the Lowell Area Schools district rejected a 1 mill tax increase for building repair and construction.

If money is an issue; why does the superintendent have a $6000 a year travel budget and a free car? I think the CFO should have explained how, where and why the funds can be accessed and allocated so that voters understood the mileage. Way to go John Zielinsk! You failed to inform and impress me and many others I see.
