We want names! "A Pittsfield woman" is no information at all.

How about "Pontius Pilate?" Or would that be a "Pontiac Pilot?" :)

@We want NAMES - before making a post like this, please read the entire article: the individual cited is identified at the end of the article as "20-year-old Brittany Cantarella."

"Pittsfield woman" makes for a better headline, especially considering the potentially humorous nature of the incident.

Police are investigating a possible personal connection between the driver and the victim - bystanders overheard the driver shout out the victims name following the incident.

The victim should be crucified to pay for some of his sins and those of the degenerate Northampton community.

Headlines will love this. This is not funny. The cross walk law allows pedestrians the right of way = as it should. However, I've seen people march into traffic with disregard for cars that are approaching. The laws of physics say use your head and make sure the car see you, don't push your luck.

The Berksire Eagle is now letting 5th graders write the news?...A true sad excuse for a newspaper...How about a little respect for those of us that used to buy the paper and now recieve it for free because you have to give it away to get anyone to read this trash!

Hey Ken: Relax.

It's funny.

Every paper in the Commonwealth is running a similar headline.

By 10 PM it will be on Google News, and then in every paper in every OTHER state.

Within three days it will be on the late night TV monologues.

It's just a story that CRIES OUT for this kind of humorous treatment.

It made national news, so it's not just the Eagle. My god, it's a little humor in people's lives. Is that too much to ask? I think either people need to stop ripping the Eagle apart or just don't read it.

Ms. Cantarella is now is some very select company.

Dibs on the bumper stickers!

It's important to have Jesus in your life... but not as a hood ornament.

Come to Jesus and be saved... but park your car first.
