Everyone makes mistakes, and no one is perfect. It's important to realize this article is about his death and not the story of his life. There is no article, newspaper, or journalist in the world who could adequately capture what a kind, loving, and funny man Casey was. Case was one of the best men I knew and one of my dearest friends for many years, and I know that his memory will be kept alive in our hearts; in all the memories of the good times, the laughs, and the adventures. I will always remember that smile, that laugh, those eyes. To the Briggs family, and all of his other loved ones and friends, thoughts and prayers go out to you.
